  1. I think it would suit him and I think it would suit us if an acceptable offer came in to be honest.
  2. This is who I think may leave... EFC outs - Heitinga - Ajax Neville - Lower Prem Club or Bury Fellaini - Champs League Club Jelavic - German Club Hitz - Free Mucha - Free Here's what I'd like based on who we've been linked to... EFC Ins - CB - Alderweireld CMs - McCarthy, Fer Winger - Sinclair Along with this we are desperate for a striker like Bony, Lukaku, Benteke - I actually think we'll spend big on a striker this summer. We'll also need a keeper to challenge Howard.

    Zoo's Quiz.

Just remembered Paul Scholes' headers v Poland.

    Zoo's Quiz.

Crouch against some shite team - jamaica i think! Didn't Ian Wright get one against San Marino or Faroe's and I'm sure Lampard's got one in his time.
  5. The link's from years ago, maybe when Gazza was playing for us - I seem to remember Danny Baker being something to do with it too (although he's a massive Millwall fan, so maybe not!!!)
  6. All the best, hope you can make a full recovery soon.

    Zoo's Quiz.

Rooney on the basis that they've consistently played each other in the current era and I can remember at least 5 goals he's scored against them in the last few years. Don't think any City player has stuck around long enough recently! Was going to say Best as a complete guess but it'll be a city player if rooney's right.
  8. Rooney to return with the captains armband...
  9. Stones will be a centre back eventually it seems. We had money for other targets (Fer) so us signing Stones wasn't at the expense of other deals. He's a very promising youngster who a few clubs were in for by all accounts.
  10. That rings a bell but can't remember who said it or where I heard it, that's if I even did!!!
  11. Played right wing back for the u21s last night - another young prospect who goes by the name of Tony Hibbert made his long awaited return in the 1-1 draw with Fulham as one of the 3 cb's.
  12. I flinched when I saw 'Blues linked to O'Hara' on twitter - luckily not Jamie though!!!
  13. I think Moyes should have spotted the threat of Walker though and Oviedo would have been the obvious sub in that regard.
  14. He's been an excellent servant for the club and deserves a warm send off.
  15. The goal came from their most threatening attacking player all day - Kyle Walker. Oviedo could have come on and just doubled up with Baines - hindsight eh?!
  16. I wouldn't read too much into it as there's not a single quote from him!
  17. So Moyes must trust him. He was required today and got the nod for looking bright when coming on recently and probably impressing in training. Of course playing in front of 40,000 is different to anything else but young players are prepared for this through training etc so it won't have been an alien experience to him.
  18. Today also showed that Moyes trusts Ross ahead of his 'favourites' Naismith and Neville!
  19. He's a member of our squad who was needed today as we obviously needed another midfielder and Vic leading the line rather the more attacking stoke line-up. With Felli and Pienaar out Ross was required - he wasn't thrown in, he's been in and around the first team for over a season, training with his team mates on a daily basis. He'll probably get more time between now and the end of the season, all of which will aid his development. It sounds like he had a fairly decent game anyway from what I've heard (was travelling so only listened) - sounds as if he was a little naive at times though.
  20. Last time I pay you a complement!
  21. Jay Spearing looks clever! I always liked the look of David Hopkins and Ewan Roberts - 2 beautiful men!
  22. * compliment retracted due to Avin's paranoia *
