People aren't necessarily writing him off but I like many am finding it hard to find any positives in his performance on Wednesday. I liked the look of him at Wigan so am hoping for better but stand by my statement that Wednesday was the worst EFC striker's performance in memory.

I must say I've watched the game back having been there on Wed... still thought it was an awful performance from Kone. The worst part for me was that he had a couple of chances to latch onto things/pick up the pieces but he was stuck on his heels, he didn't seem to read the game which is vital for a striker, especially a lone striker. Jelavic must start on Saturday in my opinion.

No he'd ask for a class striker as a make weight in the deal and then replace the left back and midfielder with the £25m. He even states that with the 2 players suggested.

I would say it's the worst strikers performance I've seen at Goodison Park and I've watched some greats... Angel, Chadwick, Branch, Madar, Mo Johnson... the list could go on. At least 3 sitters!
