  1. http://talksport.com/football/exclusive-everton-and-newcastle-eye-shock-noble-swoop-13121271636 Not for one minute do I think this holds any substance BUT I think he's a decent player who could make the step up from West Ham but as long as they're in the Prem I can't see him going anywhere.
  2. I would like to vote for our midfield unit as pre-match you look at Arsenal's 5 and there really aren't many better than that in world football... the fact that our 5 dominated theirs at times shows how far we've come under Martinez. I thought Barkley epitomised the new Everton with his no fear/enjoyment of the game so he pipped it!
  3. After a quick google I'm pretty certain it's 'The Manager' - you always started in the conference - I was always Barnet I seem to remember!
  4. Actually it was probably the one before Champ Manager - can't remember what it was called... on the Amiga of course!
  5. I was 10 - remember listening to it while playing Champ Manager - thems were the days!!!
  6. Moyes could have left us for another job earlier - not all approaches become official and why wouldn't clubs like Villa and maybe even Spurs have wanted him? He was loyal to us but obviously that was helped by his very handsome pay cheque. I will always have respect for his overall job at EFC but he's no concern of mine now. He's moved on, I've moved on and EFC have moved on... and I'm loving it!
  7. That's how it ended - 2 good wins in 2 for them with the loan signings!
  8. Everton 3 - 0 Stoke Mirallas (think he'll go on a bit of a run with the goals into the new year.)
  9. I heard that too - that's with Capoue out and Sandro coming back to fitness though. It looks like he's 4th choice. I'd imagine there'd be higher status/more £££ offers should he become available anyway.
  10. Barry staying should be a no brainer with him on a free. We need another in there anyway - with Gibson out already an injury/suspension for Barry or McCarthy will test us.
  11. Forget that then... 'France midfielder Yann M'Vila, 23, currently with Rubin Kazan in the Russian Premier League, sparked transfer rumours after being spotted in the Liverpool section at the Merseyside derby.' From BBC paper's gossip section.
  12. Howard needs to be more commanding - Mingolet is very good but Begovic is the stand out keeper for me. Also really like Lloris.
  13. He did play well but I was a little disappointed with our finishing as none of the saves were outstanding as such - you'd expect the keeper to make the saves he did (if you know what I mean?!) - the Lukaku/Delofou one on ones especially were made easier than they should have been for Mingolet!
  14. Barkley was brilliant - as said a few poor decisions with his final ball but brilliant. He looked very comfortable too when put in alongside McCarthy when Barry went to lb.
  15. Scored again today and, according to the very unreliable sky app line-ups, he played left mid.
  16. Great player who I'd love here but sadly can't see it happening in the near future.
  17. Oh dear!!!! It'll be a miracle if we're not 1 down come Sunday - everyone get rain dancing Aussie style!
  18. I must have skipped past the sea bit - knob head!!! (not you mike)... I was still too excited by the prospect of buying fruit and veg off Phillipe Albert and Lars Bohinen doing Strictly!!!
  19. Brilliant story!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-24992646
  20. I vaguely remember him being interviewed about that on Midlands Today (local news!)
