    Think it says in the report that the Spanish options aren't appealing to him and with us having a Spanish manager I'd say that would put us in a very strong position if he wants to test himself in the prem anyway.

    I think Benteke is a better all round player and more suited to be a 'lone' striker. Benteke is 2 or 3 years older so maybe Rom will become the better player long term - who knows? Don't get me wrong, I would love Rom here permenantely but I'd say Benteke is more worthy of a £23m price tag currently.

    Neil Taylor - think he's been linked with Fulham. I think we need 2 more in - cm cover and now lb cover. There's little value in the Jan market but let's remember we signed John Stones last Jan so there is value but maybe on 'lesser known' talents. I wonder if bringing Garbutt back from his loan is an option.

    Big Sam has just said he's chosen us after spending 3 weeks working on the deal. That makes the deal worthwhile in it's own right!!! Martinez was quoted last night that he wanted a partner for Lukaku rather than a replacement - what an intimmidating pair for opposition defences!!!
