For what they spent on Alberto, Aspas and that portugese cb, £4m or even £9m on Lambert is money well spent in comparison. I loved the kopites playing the £££ card last season about Chelsea/Citeh - that lot spend plenty themselves! If us Evertonians mention money though we're just bitter!

There's McCarthy's worth there. I personally thinks he's brilliant. He reminds me of my all time favourite blue Joe Parkinson. In my opinion McCarthy is our most important player and the hardest to replace in our team.

He may go back to Southampton too for the likes of Lallana, Schniderlin and Wanyama - all midfielders. They'll definitely be exits at Spurs this summer... Sandro looks likely and hopefully there's truth in the Dembele rumour. Spurs will be very strong next season regardless.
