  1. He'll get that based on his previous 2 seasons in this league should he stay fit.
  2. We're playing poker with Man U! They wanted £7-8m for someone with 1 yr left on the contract... Villa would pay that... Cleverley didn't want to go there... Martinez loves him but won't pay that for such a short contract... Cleverley wants the move to us because of Martinez... we want a loan deal... they want a permanent deal... we say we're out... do they blink first? Doubt it - they're the biggest club in the world!!!
  3. Worked for Joel Campbell last season at them.
  4. Ramis actually looked decent in the prem but got injured. I would not want him and Alcaraz in the same squad but if we could swap them plus a small fee on our behalf then it wouldn't be an awful deal. Obviously there are other CBs I'd prefer!
  5. Doesn't fall under the 'ball playing' defender category but he can defend and will put his life on the line - something I haven't seen from Jags/Distin recently (I know it's early). Having spoken to 2 Stokies - no chance at £8m, signed 5 and half yr deal in 2013 so nowhere near the valuation.

  7. http://m.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2014/08/29/hope-loaned-to-owls Meanwhile, Everton have signed goalkeeper Conor Hunt. The 18-year-old was at Blackpool last season but rejected the offer of a new contract. He joins the Club on a three-year deal after officials from Goodison Park and Bloomfield Road agreed a deal.
  8. I've just read that Mirallas only has 2yrs left on his contract - something could happen in the next week with him. Ideally for me, he'll sign a new deal but I haven't seen any mention. His value will rocket down now with such a short contract - would £15m to use on say 2 players now be the best thing to do? He'll be worth £8m max next summer if there's no new contract.
  9. He's changed his twitter background from Sturridge to Lukaku now.
  10. It's ridiculous, just because he likes Sturridge people are giving him grief. Stuff like that could turn a young lads head - sure he'll have other options.
  11. On trial with u18s currently... https://twitter.com/joelmumb/status/503927307661492224 Sweedish youngster. His hero is Daniel Sturridge.
  12. We'll have a bit more in the coffers now as Forshaw is Wigan bound and we get 50% of any fee (according to 4th Official on twitter), rumoured to be around the £5m mark.
  13. Updated story with more of a link to EFC http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11050696/Danny-Welbeck-told-he-can-leave-Manchester-United-which-could-spark-interest-from-Arsenal-and-Tottenham.html Edit: The original link has been updated it seems.
  14. He's been told he can leave apparently http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11050696/Danny-Welbeck-told-he-can-leave-Manchester-United-which-could-spark-interest-from-Arsenal-and-Tottenham.html I would still have him in a heartbeat.
  15. Jags is a decent keeper so no need to worry. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1132676/From-time-keeper-England-centre-half--rise-rise-Phil-Jagielka.html
  16. Standing is not a problem in lower gwladys. The problem is you need to stand and duck to see anything because of the roof at the back. Sitting down, you'll be fine but often vs Arse/Chelsea, etc the lower Gwladys turns into a terrace, so you need to stand. On the back row of lower gwladys you need to kind of dip down and angle you neck whilst standing to see up the other end so people often just stand in the isles.
  17. That's a wind up based on Twitter Evertonian/gob-shite Si Currie.
  18. If you are too far back in the Gwladys street the roof does cause an obstruction. If it's the back row then I'm sorry to say it's an awful view but if they're a few rows forward you'll be okay. It's not too late to swap them with the box office people.
