We are basically playing with one winger in McGeady at the moment with Mirallas, Pienaar and Oviedo out and Atsu seemingly not ready - this means we're unbalanced. Ross is wasted out wide as are Naismith and Eto'o - I actually think Osman and McGeady are our best bets if we're going to play the 4-2-3-1. I'd actually rather see the system change and play with no wingers until we get the afore mentioned players back - harsh on McGeady, maybe but for the greater good. In Barry's absence we could even drop Ross deeper and play a diamond... ...Lukaku...Naismith... ............Eto'o............... Barkley.........Gibson/Besic ............McCarthy......... Obviously Ross could fit in the hole too and go with Gibbo, Mo and McCarthy as the 3. I just think we need to use McGeady as an impact player until we get our balance back.

It will soar even higher if he continues to impress.

But imagine 2 Mirallas class wingers on their 'opposite' wings (right footer on left and visa versa). We'd have Baines and Coleman crossing in on the overlap and our wingers being able to take the game inside to shoot or bring a lurking Barkley into play. We could become unplayable.

I'd like Dyer at Swansea or Townsend at Spurs think both would come and fit in straight away. Both would improve current options. I've also been impressed with Mahrez at Leicester (less so with Knockhart - who I've liked over the last 2 years). Also Vargas looks really good at QPR. I think a winger must be a priority in Jan (maybe CB too) because Pienaar isn't going to play every game and is on the decline and we look a lot weaker without Mirallas. I think McGeady is too hit and miss to ever be deemed as 1st choice.

Just watched Barnsley v Bradford - brilliant game. Devante Cole (Andrew Cole's son) looks a brilliant prospect - on-loan at Barnsley from Man City.

Please, please, please give Browning a chance in his favoured central position so there could be a 'positive' from this blow.

The real hardcore United fans packed United in when the Glazer's took over. If you want to meet these proper fans go and watch FC United - been to a couple myself and am getting to one when they move into their own ground in the next few weeks. Brilliant experience - totally different to any I've had as a lifelong Evertonian.

He was very much at fault for their 2nd and what he did in stoppage time was just awful. I don't think he's 'football intelligent' with his decisions.

We won't see the best of him until Ross is back.

He needs benching because he's made far too many mistakes this season. His mistakes are outweighing his qualities now.
