  1. Plus Roberto could be the first EFC manager to ever win it... his mini-legacy.
  2. Sounds like a level headed lad. Good luck to him.
  3. I have often thought of Kenwright as similar to Doug Ellis. I'm not sure I like the Everton don't need a new stadium bits but to be fair under Kenwright, we don't, it'd probably be a massive risk with the corporate/commercial short fallings. If we did finally get a new stadium then they'd have to be massive hierarchical change.
  4. TV revenue meeting at Goodison happening now with live updates... http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/live-goodison-park-everton-tv-9090834
  5. There's some corkers on twitter... My favourite!
  6. I think you need to look back at some of your posts before you make statements like this. You may not mean to but you come across very cock-sure... borderline elitest if you like. I'm not saying this is a bad thing; if you can't blow your own trumpet then who's can you blow? Just not to my liking.

You should be covered in this Pad...
  10. Villa may be a more appealing option for him now.
  11. Haf... criticism of Kone is not criticism of you (unless you of course have some personal link to him - which I'm sure you would have told us about). I would have had him here for the price Wigan paid at that time - it was a 'why didn't we get him?' having seen him bang a few in and tear us apart. I was happy/dubious when we signed him - it seemed steep for his age/pedigree. Many could/can see his qualities but he wasn't an exciting signing. He has been so unlucky as he missed a few sitters vs Stevenage and West Brom (I think?) and then obviously got that injury. He's then come back into a under performing team after a very lengthy injury. Overall his signing has been a very poor bit of business - there's not a stat in the world that can prove that otherwise. Should fans be optimistic that he'll come good? I personally don't hold much hope. Lukaku on the other hand has scored goals, he's young, yes he's very raw but he is what we've been missing for many years - the big 'number 9'. Us fans need this hero to worship and yes he deserves his share of criticism - every player does this season! We paid well over the odds for him but we could get that back this summer should we need to sell - I hope we don't as he will get better and better especially if we can rediscover the form of last season. There's nothing personal here just the fact that we all want the best for our club - Lukaku's filled us with optimism and earned praise/defense, Kone has given us very little (through no fault of his own).
  12. Lennon has played a major part in his return to form.
  13. He's still got one more year on his contract. We need better options!!!
  14. Beautiful Mike - tears in my eyes watching that.

  17. Well his wife's a lucky lady because he hasn't got super powers on the pitch!
  18. It was one of the most painful goals... I was flung at least 6 seats from mine with all kinds of DNA all over me from sweaty boozed up blues - loved it! I remember Arteta's vs Fiorentina got a similar reaction.
  19. Brilliant league - changes match by match! Boro did what they do best - defend... maybe Ayala would be worth a look at if they don't come up. He's been getting rave reviews, having Karanka in charge has probably helped.
