  1. He'll miss the 1st 2 u21 games due to a concision suffered in training.
  2. Man U as early as possible to coincide with their Champions League qualifiers. I'd like a decent midweek away day early while I'm still off work - maybe Bouremouth or Southampton to turn it into a couple of days away.
  3. Has anyone checked with MC if it's okay to reply in this thread?
  4. The Balague quote explains it. Low price = low buy back. I've read our fee is 3m Euros and they can buy him back for the 1st 2 years at 6m and then 9m. Barca/Real often do it - Barca must have done this with Bojan last season as he went for a similar fee.
  5. Sterling almost cost the shite £50m (in Kopite currency) then. Looked horrible but seems okay.
  6. Henderson's positional play had put that pressure on us - the sub should have happened as soon as we went ahead... ROOOOOOOOONNNNNEEEYYYYY!!!
  7. Top notch from Witshire - now to keep him fit!!!
  8. He's just working his price-tag down so he can come home.
  9. Stupid thing is, if/when Clynne moves to Man U or Liverpoo, you can put money on him being a guaranteed starter for England regardless of form.
  10. https://twitter.com/ssorgenfri/status/610036505042677760 A shame, if true, I really like the look of him.
  11. Plus Konoplyanka is reportedly seeking £100k a week as he's on a free... that in itself can cause no end of problems behind the scenes - before you know it the wage 'bench-mark' has been raised by £20k a week for most players - that's where the real problems lie in the cases such as Leeds, Pompy, Birmingham.
  12. He's been much better at Hull as rb/rwb. He puts in a quality cross. I'd put him in the Coleman mould - an option as a right midfielder but much better on the overlap.
  13. I'd love to have both here. We'd be so dangerous and trouble any team.
  14. If he has a good Euros next summer we can name our price (like we did with Rooney ?)
  15. They've got the fan base to survive at league 1/2 level - that's before people start hoping on if they were to get league football. Can't see any reason why they can't get at least close to what AFC Wimbledon have done/are doing.
  16. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/447982/Everton-interested-signing-Arsenal-forward-Lukas-Podolski Would be great at a reasonable price considering his age/no resale.
  17. To be fair, it won't be a big fee based on Bojan and other youngsters they've let go. Maybe it's something to do with the buy back option.
  18. £3m!!! Oh it is the Daily Mail! THT of ToffeeTV who clearly has a good grasp on these goings on says 8m with buy back... either way, it's a no brainer.
  19. Won't excite many but he's been excellent over the past 2 seasons for Hull. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/everton-consider-4million-bid-ahmed-5877044 I'd stay open minded on this.
  20. The reality of this is that Stones is going either this summer (hopefully not) or next (unless we somehow get top 4). Money talks, and before people start Kenshite'ing here there and everywhere, it's not just us. Spurs and Liverpoo are the same (ish) and they've got got the sought after rich owners - Kane and Sterling will go at the right price. Basically the top 4 of last season have all the power. Only a takeover of Man C / Chelsea proportions or ECL qualification over a sustained period can change this... and this is why I am falling out of love with modern football (sadly I'm obsessed and it won't actually happen!) - something needs to happen though! I've mentioned before that my mate is involved with FC United and obviously a fan. A couple of weeks ago he was brought to tears at the trial opening of their own stadium in a friendly vs Benfica. It's not the glitz and glamour of the EPL but it doesn't stop me being envious of him.
