  1. These stem from twitter super clown John Merro don't they? He thrives on the attention.
  2. There's some gold in this thread!!! I'm sure there are some of my stinkers in here... probably lusting for the same jet heeled tricky winger!
  3. Are you the new reporter for Slow Sports News?
  4. Another agent dropping our name to drive the price up? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-face-everton-transfer-battle-6022207 I like the look of this one (if there's any truth).
  5. Splashing the cash doesn't always mean teams are spending more money than us. Teams like Leicester and Bournemouth now - Stoke, Sunderland etc in the past will pay more in transfer fees than us but we will spend more on a weekly basis to keep better players. Stoke are a good example of the 'cycle' - they'd spent very big in transfer fees in their first few seasons but not the last couple because they've kept their better players and are paying better wages. They have reached the peak of their powers and could be losing 2 of their 3 most important players in Begovic and N'Zonzi - it'll be interesting to see how they get on from here. The only teams who can sustain the high wages and high transfer fees are the 'big 6' - the fact that we are usually amongst these teams shows that our investment in what we're got is justified but sadly we'd have to look off the pitch to explain why we're not in the same bracket overall.
  6. ...and a short one (by goalkeeping standards) at that.
  7. ToffeeTV (very good source) have claimed both us and West Ham have had a deal in place with Juve since Thursday. Can't really complain if he's choosing them for location - not a lot we can do about that!
  8. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-make-20m-move-evertons-6014885 If they offered £20m plus Lennon then I think Roberto may feel a little pressure to sell. I would prefer him here but every player has his price at every club. With Delph's release at £8m, selling McCarthy for a huge fee and getting Delph for less than half would be a masterstroke but it seems Delph is City bound... decent thought though.

  11. United are heavily linked with the Italian right back Darmain so this rumour could fizzle away soon (until he's linked to Chelsea again!)
  12. We want £3m according to his next tweet.
  13. I liked the look of him before he got injured. Not seen a lot of him but he's looked a good attacking full-back when I have.
  14. Linked to Sunderland in this article. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/everton-fc-transfer-rumours-blues-9589001
  15. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3146517/Everton-West-Brom-right-Cristian-Gamboa-uncertainty-Seamus-Coleman-s-future-continues.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 Looked decent at WC2014 - then was an Irvine signing and hasn't had a look in since Pullis took the reigns but he does love a big CB in the full-back positions e.g Dawson and Lescott. The WBA fans I know wanted to see more of him and Pogonolli over the aforementioned centre backs. As back-up for £2m max then he may not be a bad option. His versatility could be useful off the bench much like Oviedo.
  16. Are we officially interested in him then? Has the transfer to Stoke been finalised? Oh...
  17. I agree... wouldn't like to be his son - surely the root of this.
