Straq mark 2... may just be a back-up option. I wonder if Mori and he were the 2 Martinez said we were close to... and everyone has jumped on the other being Yarmolenko?!
His River Plate manager has said he's signing for us along with Mori.

Could be an interesting press conference this morning (started 9am). They'll be more than Man City chat no doubt.

I don't get the impression that he's the type of person to hand in a transfer request.
So that leaves 3 possibilities in my opinion...
1. Chelsea are just stirring the pot and have got the story into the media through their avenues.
2. Journalists are just making stuff up which would seem the next logical step in their Stones saga.
3. and this is what I fear... The story has come from within Everton on the knowledge that he will be sold to deflect the blame from the club onto the player.
Whatever it is Chelsea are getting encouragement from somewhere as if they need a CB, which they seem to, they wouldn't be wasting their time on someone who they have no chance of getting.
I'm actually feeling very optimistic about this coming off. He's exactly what we need too! I was disappointed that we didn't sign Payet, Shaqiri, Cabaye and Traore but actually if it's meant we've ended up with Yarmolenko then actually I'm delighted as I'd choose him over each of the aforementioned names.
More jargon but it's a link nonetheless.
