Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla and Sanchez would pass a 2 man centre midfield to pieces! If there was ever an occasion to pack the centre and play on the counter then at the Emirates is that occasion. Mirallas and Lennon on the wings for me - bring Deulofeu on to impact the final 20-30 mins.

Mirallas being unused on Saturday sums up why I would have entertained selling Naismith in the summer. Once again I will give a lot of credit to Naismith, he's important... but he's a square peg at left wing. Mirallas needs to get some game time now. For all the good Naismith does, as previously said, he'll be misused and put in ineffectual performances like yesterday more often. It's not his fault but he continues to be played out of position.

The fact is you'll pick up on anything Lukaku says and play it against him yet another player does the same thing, which it is essentially, and you'll excuse him. I don't actually think it matters that Aguero's talking about his admiration for other managers just as it doesn't with Lukaku. If asked about Martinez, I'm sure he'd speak glowingly.

I expect Pep will be Man City's next manager but as said Aguero's still talking about another manager he'd like to play for and not 'focusing on his current responsibilities'. Loads do it, not just Lukaku. It's a non-story which you seem to revel in at every opportunity. As also said, it's all getting a bit boring so please change the record.

Aguero seems to have the same problem... said he wants to play for Guardiola in a recent interview. Wonder how much abuse he'll get from Man City fans for this comment. Little I suspect.

Thoughts? Personally, I'll go back on saying he looks more than capable back-up. He looks like he could challenge Jags or Stones to start on a regular basis. He was excellent today - not a bad shout for MOTM although I went for Lukaku.

Duelofeu was poor but his one bit of class got us the equaliser. I think he knew he'd had a poor game when he came off. Against full-backs like Brunt he'll have a field day but against better opposition he'll be better used as an impact player. We've got him because he's inconsistent... if he was at his best every week then he'd still be at Barca which is probably the biggest complement you can give the lad.

Stones played rb for Barnsley to get game time, he was always going to be a centre back. Loads of youngsters play out of position in 'less vital' roles to get early game time to aid their development - FACT!

Seems Campbell did actually... 'New boss Osvaldo Ardiles played him at left-back at the start of the 199394 season in place of the injured Justin Edinburgh, before he was switched to right-back in place of Dean Austin.At the end of the season he signed a four-year contract with the club.'

Rio started as a defensive midfielder and Campbell started as a striker. Sometimes youngsters are used out of position to get them first team experience.
