  1. 1. Breaking Bad 2. This is England 3. The Sopranos 4. Ray Donovan 5. Banshee Enjoyed Friday Night Lights and Prison Break too. Would put the 1st season of True Detective right up there but the 2nd was a let down. Luck was brilliant but they had to cancel it due to all the horses dying. Really enjoying some of the terrestrial series' like Broadchurch, Prey, Silent Witness and Happy Valley. Vinyl looks like it'll be brilliant!
  2. Spot on... http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/roberto-martinez-must-take-responsibility-10786063
  3. Let's see how we do in the cups this week. I think he's an excellent cup manager but think it's clear now he's making the same mistakes week in, week out in the league. Win us a cup and this season has been a success. Fail to win a cup and I don't really think there's much of a case to keep him.
  4. On the bright side he looked every bit the £50m player David Luiz was today.
  5. Having read more it seems more feasible that he's the 3rd keeper in the absence of Stanek so in the squad in case Howard or Joel get injured during the warm-up.

  7. Rumours doing the rounds that young keeper Russell Griffiths is in the squad tomorrow... a lot of speculation that Howard is off to MLS imminently.
  8. Deutschland 83' is brilliant plus Mo Besic plays the lead role.
  9. He's looked decent every time I've seen him play. He's supposedly a future centre back but he looks more like a winger to me.
  10. In their defence, it does seem he'd 'agreed terms' with us... think we just forgot to get him to sign the contract. Maybe the infamous 'contract nonce' was busy!
  11. Howard - Roberto's faith has been repaid in part - it want to see it consistently now. I thought Stones played well up to getting injured then it seemed that was playing on his mind and he was an accident waiting to happen from then on. We got away with it thankfully. Special mention to Jags - we've missed his presence at the back so much. Think we'd be a lot higher now should he have been fit over Christmas.

  13. He always scores against Chelsea because of this I don't think he'll go until after the weekend.
  14. Seems they're sorting it!!! I hope there's no more flooding - people up there have had more than their share.
  15. Should we get Carlisle then it wouldn't surprise me if it's played at Goodison with a larger gate going to them.

  17. Like first touch, it's impossible to improve temperament.
  18. Don't think short-sighted is the best term with Crewe sitting bottom of League 1 and Oxford 3rd in League 2. I'd guess he'd be very happy with his decision.
  19. Above is a tweet (not showing for some reason) from Alan Nixon (North West reporter) linking us to Begovic and Montero.
  20. Money won't be an issue especially if Naismith, Pienaar/Gibson and McGeady are to be off the wage bill soon. That in itself would save £120-150k per week and bring around £8m in (rumoured fee for Naismith - as others would only bring loan fees in I'd imagine). Between them, they've appeared less than 1 player. Swapping 3/4 for 1 would make it a lot cheaper than the £21m (which could be Euros anyway) quoted.
