Purely speculative but as Usmanov's former allie at Arsenal maybe this puts us on Usmanov's radar in a few years if his frustrations of not having more control there continue... now that would be exciting!!!
I thought the celebration was more 'let's not fuck this one up this time'.
Joel for me for giving us something to build on. Agree with Barry and thought Barkley was always a threat.
Shawcross is out and Wollschied is a doubt which may mean Muniessa and Bardsley at CB unless Imbula can cover there as many DCMs can. Would love to see Rom against a Stoke defence minus their 2 first choice CBs - fingers crossed.
If Rom is out, I'd seriously consider moving Ross up top in a false 9 and put Geri in behind him keeping the solidity of Lennon and Cleverley either side.
I think he gives us much needed balance when he plays from the left just as the likes of Pienaar, Osman and Arteta had for years. I'd give him a lot more opportunities there - excellent again last night.
The Burnley fan I know hails Howe for their promotion and good standing now - says he laid the foundations. Howe's Mrs supposedly didn't settle up north though.
