They have Dummet at left back who has been one of their better players over the last few seasons (and a product of their academy) so would hope Galloway will get time at centre back for them.

Us fans want transfers done by 13th August but the reality is that the window is open until 31st August and sometimes the best deals aren't available until later. The club's job is to have the best squad possible for a 38 game league season and hopefully 2 busy cup runs - rushing players that may not be priority for the sake of the first 3 games may work short term but long term I'd prefer us to get the right players in even if it's 31st August. Any 'marquee' signing will more than likely happen late in the window as they'll probably need replacing first at their current club and they'll probably hold out to see if any better placed clubs are in for them as we're not the most illustrious option based on recent seasons unfortunately.

On Howe, the 'rumour/reason' he left Burnley was that Mrs Howe didn't settle up north. Sure this would have been discussed in the Howe household prior to any job interview.

Reads like he's been a little stitched up by the interviewer - I doubt he'd have wanted it to come across so brutal. There goes his use of the Finch Farm facilities!!! I do feel certainly he and Osman should have got a send off on the last game like Howard but to be fair the club didn't know if the next manager would have wanted them. The handling of how they both found out was very unprofessional, which, in my opinion, is the only error the club have made.

Wouldn't suit a pressing style which Koeman seems to want us playing - can't see it personally but what a player he has been.
