  1. I can see us ending up with Berahino to many people's displeasure. I actually rate him but know many on here don't.
  2. I think he impressed most of us too in what was a defensively 'unorganised' (at best) Martinez team towards the end of last season. I hope he can come back and benefit from Koeman's stewardship.
  3. Arsenal could be in for him too... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3756045/Arsenal-rival-Everton-Deportivo-La-Coruna-striker-Lucas-Perez-clubs-willing-meet-16-9m-clause.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
  4. He had a year at Coventry - may have played RB. He was their unofficial player of the season but they wouldn't award it to a loanee. He was at Walsall until we recalled him last season but pretty sure he played CB for Walsall.
  5. I personally think this will happen. Cheap low risk back up right who Koeman knows already. Didn't see a lot of him last season but his goal against Arsenal was incredible - possibly my favourite goal last season for just how he hit it. For that moment he turned into a right footed Roberto Carlos.
  6. They weren't shite together from day one though as they were brilliant together for the first season.
  7. He sounds like what we need but I did say that about Niasse based on how he was described (I have reported it to the trade descriptions office).
  8. If we could get Schneiderlin in then I'd be happy to let McCarthy (and Gibson) go. Barry, Gueye, Cleverley, Davies and Schneiderlin for generally 2 positions would leave us very strong - it's a shame Besic is crocked as he could ease the burden on Gueye - maybe we need cover for Besic too. I think Kone will be a 31st Aug deal which may bring Chelsea in for him if they can't get their targets in.
  9. Your next assignment's waiting for you in the Yeovil thread! Keep up the good work. (I like to keep my bitches motivated with hollow praise).
  10. Nah, I got my bitches to do it.
  11. West Brom have been after a left back and Pulis likes them big so I think this could be a good move and I personally think he'll get game time - bonus that it'll be in the Prem.
  12. Come back in 10 days when the window is closed and see how you feel then. I personally can see great progress already and am excited by what I believe is about to happen in next 10 days and season ahead.
  13. No, we kept Stones last summer because he had a contract for x more years. We'd have kept him this summer too but it made footballing sense to sell him for a record fee.
  14. He'll move on though in a year or so though if he's good enough and hopefully make you good money. Regarding our players moving on, they probably will if the money's right and the player wants to but more often than not we come out of the deal better than before. Even Man U sell if the money is right, no club is too big. I'd bet Man C could even get Messi if the really really wanted him (absurd amounts of money would be required breaking all FFP regulations!)
  15. I thought he did. Certainly saw him on the SSN highlights pre-season. That Kaikai (?) stood out for them pre-season on a separate note.
  16. Tell us about James Bree... he's very highly rated by all accounts.
  17. That's exactly how I'd want us to do it. We'll have the edge over many now with what we can offer in wages and as you say if that big name is available we can now be a serious and exciting proposition.
  18. There's a definite difference this season though. It's clear we mean business and I think people are buying into this. Koeman, Walsh, Williams and Bolasie all have had other offers in recent times from 'bigger clubs'; they may not be the biggest names but I doubt we would have attracted them pre-Moshiri.
  19. Mourinho will drop him for Mik (Dortmund lad whose name I'm not even going to attempt to spell) once the window's closed and we'll be linked again in January. For now this rumour is dead.
