Martinez said there's a clause in his contract that if Barca resigned him then they couldn't sell him until he's been there for 12 months. This in theory stops what Barca/Real et al have done in the past but I'm sure there'll be some loophole as there always is.

I think more and more clubs are beginning to adopt that model, obviously not as extreme as Chelsea are.

He can't and shouldn't play in a back 4. I think we'll get a decent price for him in the summer and replace him and Jags... I think how well we do this will have huge bearings on our immediate success. Centre back(s) should be the first addressed this summer.

Agree at £50k but the way football is, give the lad half of that and one good season and he'll be in the England squad and teams will be willing to pay £30m for him. I think him and Tammy Abraham have massive potential to become top strikers - I'm sure we'll have done the research on what kind of character he is if we're really interested.

We're already overloaded in central midfield but Ndidi does look a decent player. I think Gray will be a target based on the Walsh connection. It really shows how incredible Kante was for Leicester - Huth and Morgan look shite at best without him... he somehow made them look an unbeatable pairing last season.

Yep, second that! I know a couple of 'well informed' Leicester fans who reckon Ranieri has completely lost the dressing room and most players dislike him. They can only see one outcome from this season. Sigurdsson - class again. I've been really impressed with Tom Carroll too - he's been everywhere.

I'm talking about a left sided centre back as I think we'll get Keane (replacement to Jags) and another (replacement to Mori).

Mori can't play in a centre back pairing - fine in a 3 when there's extra cover but in a pairing he just doesn't have the brain. For this reason I think he'll be sold this summer. If we can't get van Dijk then Gibson from Boro wouldn't be a bad shout as left sided centre back.

One of my favourite films of all time with probably my favourite actor. He's very good in the 25th Hour - not the greatest film but worth a watch for him and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

I've seen the film from a few years ago - very good yet disturbing as it's based on a true story.

I think we look a lot better all over with 3/5 at the back. The system suits the players we've got currently - 433 or whatever the official set-up puts Lookman and Barkley out wide- both would benefit more from playing in natural positions in a 532. For me our best line-up currently is... ..............................Joel................................ .......Holgate.........Williams........Mori........... Coleman...........................................Baines .............Schneiderlin.........Davies................ ...............................Barkley.......................... ......................Lukaku........Mirallas............... Gueye, Lookman, McCarthy and Barry all could slot in and replace when that team needs rotating and freshening up.

Would be a huge risk paying what would be required to sign Butland on the back of being out for almost a year - it'll be well over a year if/when he does start playing regularly again. He's had 3 set backs with this injury already - he may not be the same player as a serious ankle injury for a keeper may change his game completely.

Cary on with this form until the end of the season and that'll be one less position to fill in the summer. I think Williams will have at least one new centre back partner this summer so as much continuity as possible will be important.

I like the look of that today... my only 2 worries are Mori in a back 4 as he switches off and gets caught out too often and Lookman on the left as he looked a little lost at times last week but hopefully with the extra energy of Gana and Davies there'll be more cover for him today as Traore is a danger. I can see why Holgate is starting from the bench as no doubt Negredo would have targeted him as Crouch did.

Linked with West Ham today which seems a lot more legit. I think Callum Connelly will be our back-up cover next season... he's looked more than capable on the few occasions I've seen him and heard really good reports about him too.

Great to see - gave me a lump in the throat seeing that and previously with Bradley at Goodison the other week.
