  1. In King, Defoe, Wilson and Afobe they’ve arguably got better striking options than us so I can’t see that happening!
  2. Seems there’s one more now I’ve researched the dodgy question!!!
  3. This one had completely eluded me! The question must be wrong - only heard it on the radio so not actually checked the answers!!! That’s the other one I had (pre Luizgate).
  4. Interesting read - and read the match day thread too. Keane and Klaassen getting good write ups. I do wonder if Klaassen could do something given the chance with players like Walcott and Bolasie ahead - surely couldn’t do as bad as Schneiderlin...
  5. My mother (monster) in law is a Wolves season ticket holder and said he pulled the strings today. I had sent her on a scouting mission today - brought her back down to earth after ‘bragging’ all season.
  6. All 6 Mike 1 left... May was the one that took me longest but, come what May, I got it.
  7. Just heard this trivia question on Talksport which made my journey down the M6 a lot less boring... (managed to get all 7 just before home!) Name the 7 Davids (and international variations of the name) to have won the Premier League (players only). No googling!!! Happy quizzing...
  8. Allardyce will get stick, and rightfully so, but when was the last time we saw any movement?! It’s been the standout problem for years now... I bet we’re shithot at musical statues! Until we sort this out, we’ll struggle as we’re far too easy to defend against, in turn giving our opponent too many opportunities to attack us. With the attacking options we’ve got now, it’s got to be the main focus on/off the training ground from now on.
  9. Sounds like Dowell ran the show again - he’s an Everton player - can you add him?
  10. Probably not that strange to be fair as he didn’t get a game at Fulham or Wigan and the last 3 managers haven’t seen anything. The problem is that we’re that shite, and Cuco is a big part of that, that anyone with a left foot is an upgrade.
  11. They were like buses today... I can hardly contain myself!
  12. Any time during this month hence Walcott and Tosun being registered. It’s obvious the management aren’t convinced as you’d think it’d be a no brainer.
  13. Probably not even registered though... Look at us getting excited about a lad who couldn’t get a game for Wigan!!!
  14. Rumours now circulating that it was a bad source - I love Twitter!!!
  15. There’s rumours that he’s starting today... obviously registered then if that’s the case.
  16. I personally haven’t seen many of Walsh’s interviews so would like to if you can link any...
  17. We don’t actually know how much of a hand he’s played in transfers. He’s got that title but by all account he and Koeman didn’t see eye to eye - it’s all speculative whatever way you look at it.
  18. Pickford/back-up senior keeper Coleman/Kenny New 1st choice LB/Baines Keane/Holgate/Mori/At least 1 more top quality CB Gueye/McCarthy/Davies/Rooney/Schneiderlin/Baningime Sigurdsson/Dowell Bolasie/Walcott/Vlasic/Lookman Tosun/Calvert-Lewin/Maybe another senior striker I don’t know what will become of Klaassen, Sandro and Onyekuru but actually, if some are moved on in the summer it’s potentially looking a fairly strong and much better balanced squad going into next season. Where there’s older players, there’s youthful back-up in most areas. If we could address the left back position this month then I’d be fairly optimistic moving forward.
  19. Almost exactly this although I’d probably keep Baines and Mori as squad options - shows how worryingly bad our squad is! I think it’s important to get Walcott in now and definitely a left back maybe a centre back and centre midfielder too if the right ones are available - get them integrated now and hit the ground running pre-season - with an actual plan!!! Walsh must be the man in charge of who comes in as I see us having a new manager come May.
  20. Here’s the real one from a few days ago... https://twitter.com/_pauljoyce/status/951743049398448129
  21. That’s not his real account - some saddo with a fake mimic... probably a kopite. Block it!
  22. Stats only show so much but by watching the pair, Walcott is a much better player. More dynamic with much better link-up ability. I like Lennon and think he’s a decent player at this level and wins hands down defensively but Walcott is an upgrade on him (and Mirallas and Geri) in my opinion.
  23. ‘Counter attack threat’ - there’s the reason we want him. It’s what Walsh and Shakespeare know - with Allardyce’s ability to set a solid team up it seems obvious that this is the way we’re going. Walcott and Bolasie can both run long distances with the ball at pace - hopefully Tosun has the legs/lungs to join these attacks.
  24. This article confirms to me that Walcott is close - reading between the lines obviously... http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2018/01/12/boss-tips-young-pair-for-big-everton-futures
  25. None of the above - easily Everton vs Fiorentina - one of the best games I’ve ever been to. We were incredible - we eventually lost on penalties but had it not been for their keeper, Frey, then we’d have won by 4 or 5. Goodison was rocking that night.
