    I don't understand this. I'm no fanboy of Martinez, but his transfer dealings haven't exactly been his problem, have they? I'm pretty happy to have Lukaku, Funes Mori, Lennon and Deulofeu in the squad at the expense of pretty much no one who offered us anything.

    Disagree entirely. That match makes me want Michael Oliver to referee every Everton match forever on. Very fair, let a lot go but maintained control of what could have been an incredibly testy contest.

    I don't even think Tim sees Ayew until it's too late. I think his struggles are a combination of losing his quickness and reaction time and compensating by focusing too much on individuals rather than seeing the whole pitch.

    Would like to see Baines back in and a DCM rotated out, especially if Besic is back healthy. Not to beat a dead horse, but if you have squad depth, use it. Not like Besic and Baines weren't in good form before injury.

    I think the true measure will come when we find out whether or not he keeps Howard out for the remainder of the season and lets Stones go for big money in the summer. If he does those two things, by all means, keep him around. Well... that and stop playing Kone as the LM.

    I don't see him going anywhere until he's at least 25, and then I hope he'll be good enough to go anywhere.

    Yeah I think Cleverley should be playing alongside one of McCarthy (just back from injury) or Barry (old) while Mirallas starts on the left with Lennon on the right. Gives flexibility with subs, too, as Mirallas can be subbed off for an attacker (hopefully Niasse) or whichever DCM is left out of the starting line-up, depending on the scoreline
