Coleman for me. That intensity was so important, and a goal to boot. McCarthy a close second. Thought the Irishmen worked brilliantly.

He looked good minus a botched clearance. Was running into space but Arsenal was closing down on Coleman and Barkley well on the right side so they didn't have much opportunity to find him.

He seems fine. Jags obviously out so a Funes Mori/Williams back pairing for the derby. Funes Mori definitely knows what the match means judging by his red in our thrashing last season. Holgate as backup and I feel fine about our CB depth for the match.

Three meaningful substitutions? I'm so confused. I would've made the same three changes. This is incredible.

Lukaku needs to understand that people make mistakes. He just stands there like... you fucking idiot... instead of attacking the ball whenever a pass is misdirected.

Valencia and the two Irishmen looking great. Intensity is up all across the pitch; even Rom is running around. That said, we still look like shit in the final third minus that goal. We need a bit more head's up attacking intensity. Ross has been playing some good long balls in; a couple have just barely missed their target. I'd like to see Ross take a long dribble and shoot like he was known to do a couple seasons ago. This is the best we've looked since the five game run at the start of the season, but it's still not great.
