  1. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2017/06/16/everton-rule-out-signing-arsenal-target-mbaye-niang-toffees-assessment-negative/340336/ Kinda hope this is true.
  2. Whoops. On my phone and posted this in the wrong thread. Meant to post it in the transfer window thread.
  3. Late to this, but yes. I'm going to miss Chang. Also, is it just me or are all of the third kits that have been leaked/released so far absolutely god awful? http://www.footyheadlines.com/2017/01/2017-18-kit-overview-all-leaked-17-18-shirts.html?m=1
  4. Not that I'm cynical enough to think we're done doing business, but just to present the case and to calm us all down a little, assuming Lukaku and Barkley leave, this is our best line-up for opening day: Pickford Kenny/Holgate Williams jags/Mori Baines Gana schneiderlin Davies Mirallas Klaassen DCL Definitely still need some more bodies in.
  5. Don't think it means that necessarily. All saying Klaassen is more box to box.
  6. I've always been a Deulofeu fan, but this guy actually seems to put crosses into a few more dangerous areas.
  7. I will say that I don't totally understand this or buy into this yet, but I do think this reel shows more of what he offers than anything we saw with him at Watford. Seems to make strong runs down the wing, skilled in possession and makes some tricky little dribbles and layoffs to maintain possession in traffic. More than that, unlike our current crop of wingers, he seems to love a tackle. Whether he's pressing or tracking back, he seems to relish taking the ball almost as much as scoring it. I don't know what's been made of his attitude problems, but if Koeman's able to straighten him out, it does look like he's got a decent amount of skill to justify a place in the squad, though not even close to a replacement for Lukaku's goals.
  8. Amidst the feelings of joy, Keita Balde and this, just in case we forgot who we are: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/06/15/do-everton-may-rue-missing-out-on-real-madrids-bargain-starlet-d/
  9. Now that we signed Pickford, hopefully we'll be rid of him for sure. Neither Robles or he will be happy backing up a 23-year old, so I suspect they'll both go. Hopefully we can command at least a couple million pounds for Robles, but I'll just be happy to have Stek's wages off.
  10. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2017/06/15/pickford-signs Officially official.
  11. Not that this carries any weight, but doesn't look great to have him so disparaged by fans of the only team seemingly that interested in him. http://cartilagefreecaptain.sbnation.com/2017/6/14/15801526/tottenham-hotspur-transfer-news-rumors-ross-barkley-everton-no-daniel-dont-do-it-please
  12. Three of those four tough ones are away games, too... City, Chelsea and Man U all away. I'd be fine with getting a couple of them out of the way, but that's just brutal.
  13. Wish we had one like it stateside.
  14. Except that Beckham last played for the national team 8 years ago at 34. Not a massive stretch.
  15. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2017/may/25/wayne-rooney-left-out-england-squad-face-scotland-france Well it definitely sounds like it's happening.
  16. Drew me in, too. Hate myself for it.
  17. With you here. Early in the season I thought he might still be able to offer us something. Then I watched his last couple games.
  18. Proportionally to how much you watch Swansea, it's probably not.
  19. Athletic Bilbao. Interesting. Remember hearing about him from his cancer scare. Young... only made one U-21 appearance for Spain though.
  20. Watching him right now. Not nearly good enough anymore, even with better players than we've got supporting him.
  21. Need to lock down a top 4 finish in terms of PPP at least.
