I've only ever heard of Utrecht and Red Star Belgrade. Doesn't seem to be a very scary draw thanks to us being seeded.
Davies really the only one who caused any problems consistently. Keane was good. Pickford commanding. DCL did exactly what he was brought on to do. But Davies for his consistent energy and spark.
Agreed. Think a rotation of him and Giroud would be great this season played alongside Sandro. Rooney shouldn't even be played as a striker; a 10 or deeper-lying mid for me.
We're seeing the same Rooney who couldn't get in United's squad the second half of last season. I don't wanna lose hope yet, but I'm not sure why anyone's so surprised.
Edit: should say starting squad, but point still stands.
Not saying he's having a howler, but nothing is really coming off and he's had a few poor giveaways and a couple slips. That stepover he just did gets me excited, though. Intelligent and aware footballing. Something we've lacked up front for a bit.
