  1. Been motm for me so far. Happy to be proved wrong, at least for this game.
  2. Lookman also looking fantastic on the wing. And Martina doing a job finally. Fair play to him.
  3. Good to see the stands full now construction's done. Didn't comment on it during the Stoke match but that was a little sad against Ruzomberok.
  4. Was hoping this meant it'd be on beIN sports over here, too, but no such luck. Would surely be a better stream.
  5. Yeah Draxler would be nice. Not gonna happen, but would be nice.
  6. According to my predictions table, I apparently think Brighton, Stoke and Burnley. After seeing Stoke play against us, I don't think they're all that bad so I'd replace them with Swansea, especially with their best player gone.
  7. So many have talked about his abilities on the ball, but I just don't see it. Over and over again, he lost possession in our half, and, as you say, didn't even fight to regain it. The only place he offered any quality at all was if he got the ball on the right wing, already forward, with space. I'd much rather have Holgate's solid defending and ability to retain possession rather than having Martina's liability with the slight promise of a good cross here or there.
  8. I think people were won over by the change in formation and attributed our better play in part to Martina coming on rather than just poor opening tactics.
  9. Thank you. He put in a couple good crosses but he was garbage overall.
  10. Sorry to burst the bubble, but his wiki page says he did make one senior appearance, so the only first for Gylfi will be first Icelander to play in the top-flight of English competition for Everton, which sounds marginally less impressive.
  11. It really is unreal. That documentary is imporant. Sad to say I went to college with one of the organizers of the rally and knew him personally, a douchebag named Tim Gionet who goes by Baked Alaska. Knowing him, I really do see a lot of this so-called "movement" as cries for attention from an insecure lot of unliked white men.
  12. Yeah gutted that he won't be with the club anymore but definitely makes sense for him and can't begrudge him the move. True professional.
  13. Wow 76b pounds in student debt seems so small compared to the 1.2 trillion dollars owed over here.
  14. There may have only been a hundred at the rally, but the sentiment runs strong across the U.S. Confederate flags are not hard to find no matter what state you're in and fly proudly pretty much all over the South. It's as if a quarter of Germany were rallying behind those reminders you mention and using them as a defense to return to a time that they perceive was better for people like them.
