  1. If I was Niasse I'd be happy I was anywhere near a Premier League 1st team.
  2. I'm not bothered about the cursing. Just the fake cursing.
  3. Rubes, you're still cursing if the cursing is implied. Might as well just come out and say it.
  4. It's absolutely awful. One minor correction, though, and one that I think fuels a lot of the ignorant sentiment against DACA is that it protects anyone who was brought here before their 16th birthday as long as they were 30 years old or younger in 2012. I think for the majority of the bigots fighting against DACA, they're seeing all the 20-35 year olds and thinking that they're grown people capable of making a life for themselves. Doesn't make the decision any less terrible.
  5. Just found them a minute ago myself. Hopefully he finds himself in spaces like those for us.
  6. We looked like we were going to. I still don't understand it. I think tonkaroost is right; we do have too many "systems" players, but there's still enough individual talent on that squad that we should be handily beating the likes of Honduras.
  7. Haven't been able to see them anywhere. Open play or set pieces?
  8. Right there with you with the U.S. team, if we even make it. Probably more talent in that squad than the U.S. has ever had and we're likely to not even qualify from CONCACAF.
  9. Believe so. The figures I saw last were post-Siggurdson but pre-Pickle man so I assumed they included them all.

  11. I don't see the Tottenham argument. He has a far clearer path to playing time at Chelsea. Unless he's going to Tottenham to sit on the bench behind Eriksen/Alli/Son. I don't see him slotting next to Dier or Dembele in a deeper-lying position, either. All of those players are young with Son and Eriksen the oldest at 25. At least at Chelsea he'd have an aging Fabregas, Pedro and even Willian, 30, 30 and 29 respectively, to learn from and starting stealing minutes as they start to wear down over the next couple seasons. I don't see this as being anything but greed from Barkley. Of course his goal is not to fuck over the club he grew up loving, but he certainly doesn't seem to mind us being a casualty. It doesn't really matter whether Koeman put him in that position with his criticisms or not; you would still hope for a little more respect from a boyhood blue.
  12. If he turns out half as good as Hazard he'll be a great buy at 10m.
  13. Pretty sure somewhere right around 55 million pounds. We were about even before the Siggurdson purchase... so add 45m for him and 9-10m for Vlasic (can't type his name without getting a craving for pickles).

  15. I think Walsh has probably been responsible for the majority of our under-23 signings as of late. Probably take a little time to see his real influence.
  16. Fine except that number 4 is just a pretty coating on saying that Ross is a selfish bastard.
  17. Dominic King reporting he never actually had a medical.
  18. Walsh and the board had better be sitting on something good right now.
  19. Maybe now we try him up top in a lone striker role.
