I don't disagree. I just don't see any fullback being worse. I don't at all think it would be fair to Kenny or help his maturation, though.

I don't think either of you are entirely wrong about the paranoia around p.c. culture, but I also am not convinced you watched the awards. I think context is extremely helpful with this particular example. The entire ceremony played out like a massive celebration of women with the extremely notable exception of who actually received almost all of the most important awards, effectively undercutting the entire effort to empower women. Even if it were true that, as some white male executive said during the ceremony, "women need to step up" in the music industry to beat out men for these awards (which it's not), the general sense of disempowerment that I would feel watching men receive every major award while only lip service was given to my own ability would be pretty fucking strong.

That's kind of silly and dismissive, especially in a category like "Best Pop Solo Performance" (what the hell does that mean anyway), where pop is dominated by women and four women were nominated along with the one man that won. Also, Bruno Mars? Really? That doesn't even dive into the systemic issues behind what you wrote, though Steve touches on them above, but you can continue believing women have equal opportunities if you like.

He's had 3 substitute appearances under fat Sam in his two months in charge (excluding the Europa League game where Sam wasn't even present). That seems closer to not at all.

Garbutt is in the team. One can hope. Or, failing that, fat Sam can make another bad decision and start Coleman, pushing Kenny to the left, which is still a better option than #neverCuco.

It is a shame that they lost their QB Carson Wentz because I think they’d have a much better shot at winning. Foles is an OK game manager, but Wentz can run and has a cannon for an arm.

PLEASE let this be the end of Cuco, no matter what the situation. Unsworth does seem to rate him, for what it’s worth.

I jump for joy whenever they lose, especially to a relegation-threatened team. Again, I’ll change my tune if we’re 5 games from the end of the season and we’re in danger, but only then.

I won’t love it if they keep winning, but for now, it’s the small victories. There’s a lot of season left. No time to start rooting for Liverpool.

Not what we need but I will never hope for a Liverpool win unless it guarantees our safety.
