    It was so clear in the set up what was happening though in that the players are all defending a space and not a player. Zouma was going to defend the space where he thought he was assigned to defend. He’s not even really paying attention to where the man closest to him ends up.

    Ha fair enough. I’m happy to hate them based on the fact that their owner and QB are Trump supporters, but I hate them for so many more reasons including league favoritism. That said, Bill Belichick is the greatest football coach of all time, and I hate him for it.

    Basketball was invented in America and the best league and players are in America, so I’d say it definitely qualifies as an American sport. Baseball is pretty boring; I’ll hand it to you. No more or less boring than cricket, though.

    I realized it wasn’t clear because of the thread, but he’s the one I meant, actually.

    He’s also the only one capable of playing a good through ball, though. Not a single other passer we have consistently threads the ball through defenders.

    Far too many individual mistakes. Three times in the first 25 minutes or so, Keane and Zouma caught napping. It really is horrible to watch. On the set piece, who Coleman is marking is absolutely beyond me.

    Defending from open play is better than Martinez. He just absolutely needs to change our defensive set piece tactics.
