  1. Funny thing is, clubs don't mind the agents in general. On the contrary. They make deals a lot easier and they are the way to gauge whether a player would fancy a move or not before approaching the club. And this works both ways, Everton do this as well, I'm sure.
  2. I meant that that's why there's so often another offer. The agent calls other clubs he knows are interested to inform that he has opened negotiations with this other club, would you be willing to talk, too?
  3. It's the agents. Of course they call potential club to try to get a better deal.
  4. Marca claims we have bid 14 million euros for him: http://www.marca.com/futbol/real-sociedad/2017/06/05/59352f5846163f6a7c8b4588.html
  5. Sigurdsson works hard for his team. And it definitely looks like there will be a lot of people bitterly disappointed come September when the team is not full of world class players.
  6. Max Kruse, 29-year old Werder Bremen forward. 15 goals in 23 games this season. Stoke, WHU, WBA and Saints also interested.
  7. He's a 21-year old kid who has a child who went through a divorce and has been treated badly by Mourinho. Now, put yourself in his shoes: if that had happened to you at that age, how well would you have concentrated on your job?
  8. Local papers in Spain seem to suggest we are in advanced talks. A price of 15 million euros is mentioned.
  9. Well, Martial scored 15 goals last year. Guess how many Deulofeu managed during his Everton career, in total? 8. https://youtu.be/5IRZmdPzhkY
  10. That was a good one! Had to fight not to laugh out loud, so kudos for that.
  11. Ok, so there's a rumour. I was confused because that article didn't mention us. Martial obviously has a lot of talent (they wouldn't have paid 36 million pounds for him) so if he can sort out his off-field problems he could be a huge coup.
  12. Where are we linked with him? Plus I read earlier in the season he's been seriously homesick and miserable.
  13. He still needs to sell his Arsenal shares first. Might be a hard sell. Plus why would Moshiri give up at this point?
  14. I expect several players using us as a leverage for a better contract this summer.
  15. Obviously it will be overturned. If it was Everton, no way in hell, more likely they would extend the ban just as punishment for trying to overturn it.
  16. Honestly, watching him casts a shadow over him.
  17. New deals to players like Coleman and Mirallas eat that away quickly.
  18. Transfermarkt prices are completely useless.

  20. Pro football is not like selling shoes. It's a team effort. The same reason huge bonuses and small basic wages don't work in most areas.
  21. I can sort of understand the criticism towards Gana preferring McCarthy over his is funny. Neither has been very good going forward and they seem to score at about the same pace but Gana's tackling clearly sets him apart. He wins way more balls. For instance, McCarthy's best season tackling-wise was last season where he averaged 2.7 tackles and 1.8 interceptions per game. Gana has 4.3 tackles and 2.5 interceptions per game this season. Gana's influence in the middle of the park in general is clearly greater.
