  1. Everton haven't been invited for the next one. They've opted for Man Utd, Inter Milan AC Milan, Real Madrid, AS Roma, Liverpool, Man City and Olympiakos.
  2. America. WTF? http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2014/02/george-zimmerman-faces-dmx-in-the-ring-a-tale-of-the-tape/ A man acquitted of murder, offers to do a celebrity boxing match due to his newly found fame, around 15,000 people apply to box him and he selects rapper DMX.
  3. He's bought a bargain hasn't he? $25million for the Franchise Stadium could be paid for by Miami taxpayers although they say they're going to pay for it themselves Doesn't have to pay player wages as they're paid by the league. On top of that he's brought in a Bolivian billionaire I'm hoping they call the club it Atlético Miami. The Miami mayor clearly doesn't know much about it though, he's called him David Beckman. http://www.mlssoccer.com/beckham-miami-announcement He's not very good at press answering questions. He was asked if Miami taxpayers are going to pay for the stadium, avoided Asked what he's going to do short and long-term to ensure the team's a success, he's given a long non-answer. The Guardian asks what'll happen if they can't build a stadium, avoided Hello magazine are there asking about his wife. :\
  4. I've never been, is that all there is it to thought? A room of wax mannequins?
  5. Do they leave the metal rod in the leg? Or do they unscrew it and pull it out when the fracture has healed?
  6. The Guardian have just published this: It's the team checking out Madame Tussauds' model of Dixie Dean in 1929.
  7. From memory, it was about the 8th highest.
  8. I've grown fond of the elephants too, Mark. Apparently it's the longest standing agreement in the league.
  9. Is Filth out now? I wanted to see it in the cinema but I never got around to it.
  10. It may not be legit, the Chang deal expires this season and there's been no announcement that it's been renewed.
  11. Buy two sizes bigger then Mike
  12. They've sponsored Brazil, South Korea and USA since the mid 90s so we're used to it. They go out all out at the time with television commercials with big name players every two years so there's an entire generation of people who regard Nike as a football brand, more so than other American sports. Reebok tried their hand at it too but were no near as successful, they ended up with the naming rights to Bolton's stadium and not much else.
  13. I'm not too sure Matt! I would have thought that: Kitbag pay Everton to take over the retail division Nike pay Everton to have their branding associated with the club The latest accounts say that: So they're obviously closely entwined.
  14. Going back to the original Kitbag deal.. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/-32m-deal-for-blues.html Kitbag: Basically, the Kitbag retail partnership is 10 years, the 'sports marketing agreement' deal was five. That article was published in 2009, we are coming up to the end of the five year contract (Le Coq Sportif + Nike = 5 years in total). As long as Umbro is bringing in more than £600k a year, it's a better financial deal.

  16. Apparently, Everton made an enquiry about Carlos Mané of Sporting. This is from a producer of Football Focus:
  17. I took my cousin to see it before Christmas, I don't remember any of the songs though, all I see is people commenting about the songs but they were instantly forgettable for me. I've never heard of Brooklyn Nine Nine though.
