  1. https://www.seats3d.com/nfl/houston_texans/ How good would that be with Goodison Park?
  2. It looks decent ! I have one minor gripe.. I think the headlines FC:SSL Launches New Club Website... & A New Year, A Fresh Start... should be in bold. I also have a major gripe... where the bloody hell is our ToffeeTalk link!?
  3. I know how you feel, I had a hot dog in lower gwladys once.. I bit into it, it burst and I was left with a normal sausage with a lot of saggy skin. It tasted awful. To top things off I accidently dropped it and it rolled down under the seat in front of me.
  4. behold... http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/...=rss&feed=7
  5. Apparently he was headhunted by Robert Earl - if Earl is actively trying to change things at Everton I can predict a power struggle between him and BK. BK doesn't like other people touching his toys.
  6. The problem is finding a replacement - I doubt 10m would be made available for transfers, so it's then back to square one (finding a quality centre back for a low price).
  7. He is indeed.. he could have words.. as I say it wouldn't hurt Vic's confidence and the international experience will be invaluable.
  8. Maybe there was substance to the 'Monkey Noises' rumours? The club will want to sweep it under the carpet.
  9. second-division Romanian soccer team is offering to trade its star goalie - for a gas pipeline. The mayor of Lupeni, who runs the Minerul team, said he'd give up his goalie if the wealthy owner of Jiul, a first-division team, invests $215,500 in a sorely needed pipeline for his town. Such a deal would not be unusual in Romania, where players have been swapped for a half a pig, two sets of goalposts and a crate of wine
  10. I've heard that Tim Howard has defied orders and will be interviewed by the FA over the incident. Both he and Lescott ignored Emre's 'apology' yet Yobo accepted. I still thnk it's strange how the club are trying to cover up.
  11. February 7th Nigeria will play Ghana in London. It would be ideal for him imo because it means 7hr flight to and from Lagos. In my opinion their coach Augustine Eguavoen is more likely to pick players based in UK than those based in the Nigeria which could be a huge benefit to Vic and he can only benefit from international experience.
  12. Paul Ince has criticised English football chairmen for failing to offer black British managers the opportunity to work at the higher levels, claiming that their reluctance may be "a generational thing". The former England midfielder, League Two's manager of the month after hauling Macclesfield Town off the bottom of the table, takes his side to Chelsea tomorrow in the third round of the FA Cup having reiterated his desire to become the first black Englishman to manage in the Premiership. His frustration at failing to secure a role at Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer resurfaced yesterday, though he remains baffled as to why clubs in the top echelons have apparently shied away from appointing black managers. "Most chairmen [of English clubs] are 65 or 75, so maybe it's a generational thing. Maybe black managers will have more of a chance with foreign owners coming into the game, people who don't really see this as an issue. No one ever talked about the likes of Keith Alexander and Leroy Rosenior [when jobs became available]. Keith did extremely well at Lincoln, got them into the play-offs three times, but no one's willing to give them a chance to go higher. I can't understand why not. "Maybe I'm the one now to take it on and be that first Premiership manager. The Wolves job would have been ideal. The fans wanted me, the players wanted me, everyone wanted me but for some apparent reason I didn't get it. At Macclesfield the owner's from Iraq and all he wants is this club to stay in this division. I feel wanted at this club, which is why I'm working my nuts off to make sure we stay up." Ince was the first black man to captain England, an achievement of which he remains fiercely proud, and endured racial abuse in Italy after leaving Manchester United to join Internazionale. "When I arrived in Italy there weren't a lot of black players - I was there, George Weah was there - and all of a sudden there was an influx of black players who came in, from France or Africa," he added. "When I captained England there were a lot of black players coming up from the ghetto so it felt like I was a kind of figurehead for black people to get into football. I've spoken to Ian Wright and Les Ferdinand, great footballers who have since gone into the media. I chose different. I felt that after having such a great career, I wanted to put something back. "It's crazy that we're still talking about race issues these days. Other countries have moved on, yet we seem to have our heads stuck in the sand. Look at [Jean] Tigana and [Ruud] Gullit - they've managed in the Premiership, but they're not English, are they? We need to move on from this."

  14. The Italian international has been in impressive form for the Roman club this term and with Chelsea looking for defensive cover - Jose Mourinho reportedly looked into landing the 27-year-old former Everton man. Ferrari's agent Gianni Corci confirmed Mourinho was a fan of his charge, but he insists a new deal at The Stadio Olimpico is his priority. "Jose Mourinho knows Ferrari well and this is why, when Matteo played against Chelsea for Everton, he spoke very highly of him," Corci told Teleradiostereo Sport. "Ferrari suits the English game, both for his technical and physical attributes, but it's clear he wants to continue with Roma. "We have a strong rapport with the Giallorossi directors and plan to carry on this relationship. "We want to extend our contract, although it has to be said matters haven't improved by much. "Even if in Italy too there are prestigious sides interested in Matteo, who have made some interesting approaches, we are perfectly relaxed. Roma are in our minds." Meanwhile, Francesco Tavano has completed his loan move to the club from Valencia. Roma agreed the deal last month and have now finalised the deal with a view to a permanent deal in the summer. I'd love to see him back this month if he's going anywhere.

  21. A man with no arms or legs is sunbathing on the beach. He is approached by three beautiful young women who take pity on him. The first says to him, "Have you ever been hugged?" The man shakes his head, and she leans down and gives him a hug. The second says to him, "Have you ever been kissed?" He shakes his head. She kisses him. Rather abruptly, the third girl asks, "Have you ever been fucked?" "No," says the man, his eyes lighting up. "Well, you are now, The tide's coming in."
  22. He's a 23yr old drug dealer apparently
