It could be done quite easily - they could also have a website where you topup prior to going to the game. You can do this on orange/o2 websites and it's practically the same thing.

When at Aberdeen Keith Wyness told the Aberdeen chairman to open his purse strings and lend the club £8million to cover the clubs debt. This would have apparently saved the dons 400k on interest a year from a bank loan. Unfortunately the chairman never bothered.. On to Robert Earl, according to the telegraph A few questions a. Do you think he has been asked to lend the club some cash interest free ? b. Should he be expected to? c. Do you think he would do it if asked. I read that the club currently pay £1.7million a year in interest on their loans. So it would cut a huge loss off in fell swoop.

I hate to say it but this sky incoming sky money is nothing but bad news for us. We are already in debt (club have taken out two loans - 30million over the next 25yrs -total repayable is closer to 56m and a 25m loan plus we've borrowed in advance of sky money for Lescott and Johnson) and the wages at the club are currently high and many of us were hoping certain parasites left the club to free up cash for youth and other investment. I beleive the new tv money really won't help us. Prospective signings will know that the club has some money and the agent will try and make the club part with as much of that as possible on behalf of his client. Nothing new you think, but this is on a different scale. It's becoming ridiculous where average players like Lucas Neill (he has snubbed the RS so he can play for the West Ham) can earn 60,000 per week. I think the Moyes' biggest task is coming up next season, rumours are also suggesting that Darren Bent has requested a new 100k a week deal! Originally I thought that the extra money coming in was a good thing but having seen those two above I suspect the worse is yet to come.

I doubt you will find anyone on here who disagrees with you, two years ago BK came out and said that the reason we dont sign players in the January window is because players are more expensive and if we do sign a player in the window it will be in the last week of January to avoid paying as much wages as possible. So I wouldn't get too worked up about lack of signings just yet, come the 31st and we've still signed anyone you should be worried.. we usually all are it's almost become tradition that everyone is on here at midnight awaiting to see if we've signed anyone!. As for the scouting network.. I heard a rumour that it was severely downsized as it was costing too much to run. I don't know if it's true or not but if it is it's an upsetting affair. I couldn't see Lauren being a decent signing for us to be fair, he's injury prone and is 30 now. We need to be building for the future. As for Ashley Young, I fear we were priced out of the market for him, in my opinion he is still unproven but has potential, he is not worth £8m. I think the reason he is valued that highly is because he is young, english and based near London.

I think phase 1 was the introduction of the seasoncard. The memory chip on the card is already capable of storing the fans id, each fan will be given a unique number through the seasoncard and it would only require one extra field to collaborate with a database that efc would set up to tell the till how much money is on the card when fan attempts to buy said warm chang. Storm how did you find the system overall? Was it effective?

Disgusting isn't it? I very really watch BBC. I think that there should be a choice if you want to have BBC or not, if there was a device similar to a freeview box with a card needed to watch the BBC that cost £150 for the year. Then no buggar would buy it, it's a shame that it's enforced onto us all. Sooner or later BBC should either do the above or introduce adverts.

I think it's a good idea because: *The queues would be shorter and quicker *The club can sit on the interest of the money that is pre-paid into the account I reckon it would be fairly simple to introduce now we have seasoncard, we could put a tenner on the card again similar to payg and then off we trot in the stadium. The 'stalls' inside could then stop taking money and take payments from seasoncards only. But what could we call it? (cue - Some smartarse is going to come up with clubcard..)
