  1. Word has got around about the petition now, someone posted it on toffeeweb and someone else found it there and posted it on bluekipper. I know it doesn't matter much but I don't like every person who signs it to see it was made by me and my name is there on the main page of the petition.
  2. Don't get too excited, this happens all the time. For people with that much money it's actually cheaper to pay for it with a loan because the interest of having their money in the bank is greater than the interest they'll pay on a loan. I remember once a certain big boobed Brookside actress/singer applied for car finance at my stepdads salesroom for the above reason and was knocked back so she had to pay it in cash.
  3. I've heard that Licker but I've never actually seen it open after a game.. only before http://www.dvd.co.uk/product3.asp?fs=froog...mp;id=CDGAFFER5
  4. Fair enough StevO... you may have noticed that my signature is missing as I have not made up my mind yet. We on TT seem to be a reasonable bunch.. we are waiting for facts before we start an argument. The petition is only there for those that want to sign it so that they can voice their disapproval for moving to Kirkby. However.. despite starting the above petition.. I do want to distance myself from the pressure group (that will be taking up many headlines on Toffeeweb and NSNO in the near future and) that has recently formed, in my opinion they have rushed in without taking much notice of facts. The club do not help things as any information regarding the stadium has not been forthcoming, they are staying behind their 'we havn't finished our plans' screens. For example: We need clarification on what exactly is going on with the Tesco partnership - we've all heard the rumours about Tesco only getting involved because they want a store in Kirkby Town Centre unfortunately if asked I'm sure we are not likely to get a response on that. Questions that need to be asked are along the lines of: Who will own the stadium, Everton, Kirkby Council or Tesco? - This would have been decided already especially as Tesco have sent their surveyors to cherryfield drive already. Keith Wyness suggested it would be Everton in an open meeting but he did not categorically state it will be owned by Everton. The land has been donated by KCC already but it still has not been confirmed exactly where it is. All we've been told is that it is near Knowsley College on Cherryfield Drive. Furthermore no one in the pressure group has questioned their figurehead Warren Bradley's involvement.. just why is he there? Is he there as an Evertonian who wants Liverpool to remain the home for Everton or is he there as a council leader jumping on the bandwagon to ensure that Liverpool Council get their share of tax income.
  5. http://petitionthem.com/default.asp?sect=detail&pet=3753 Seeing as there isn't one already it makes sense to have one so people have their greivances put forward.
  6. It's only a recent thing with football related honours.. '66 aside I think it's only been a promotional tool for political parties to prove they're down with the peeps.
  7. Petition Click it for more information..
  8. http://www.channel4.com/news/articles/busi...rice+tag/267613 If it was based anywhere else apart from London funding would have been pulled away. No questions.
  9. I've just got kings of leon new album.. great stuff..
  10. Thanks Stevo I'm off to the shops now....
  11. You have been offered at the club and you have to choose what tunes you play against the opposition before a match to wind the their fans up. What songs would you choose and against who? A few suggestions: Chelsea: Beatles - Money Liverpool: Bruce Springsteen - Born in the USA, Dandy Warhols - We used to be friends
  12. Joe... download google earth... so you can see the stadiums as they are... Type in L1 8LY for the postcode of the hotel me and Liam have recommended L4 4EL to see Goodison Park and L12 1LW to see Bellefield.. Goodison is 4.5 km from city centre.. Hotel is 6km from Bellefield I reckon you should book a stadium tour in advance stadiumtours@evertonfc.com Bellefield is a bit remote and out the way... I think you'd need a cab to get there Although they may be training in the new academy in Halewood by the time you visit..
  13. Yeah... and personal computer shopper
  14. I've always thought that it was carried out on that date because it is the american number for help :| the q33ny thing is very strange if true
  15. Scored 2 tonight against Prescot Cables.. we won 3-1
  16. there's a donations button at the bottom of the page
  17. Not going to get a better price than that Joe. It works out cheaper to stay there permanently than to rent in Liverpool! It's at least double that price in a city centre hotel.. Possibly Jamaica House at £15 per night but its in a rough area and apparently it's drug-ridden and all round shit-hole... AVOID Personally I wouldn't like a hostel and I'd pay the extra and go for something like: http://www.hotelformule1.com/
  18. I've just finished back from the brink - Paul Mcgrath's autobiography... decent read.
  19. Insurers tend to give girls a better deal when they are 19-25 because statistically they are less likely to be racers. It's very unfair.. I've just seen on the news that you can now be docked 6 points and fined for eating whilst driving!
  20. They're Pyramid schemes.. you do get the items but it takes a great deal of patience. Similar thing here - http://lowendmac.com/menagh/05/1215.html
  21. is scary isn't it.. just seen it on ITN.. asteroid is on course to hit Earth and scientists say it will destroy human life.. just aswell we'll all be dead before it hits then eh?
