  11. Purchase a USB hard drive caddy.. take out the Hard drive from your old computer and put it in the caddy. Remove the jumper from the back of the hard drive (small U-shaped piece of plastic connecting two pins). Then plug the caddy into the pc using the cable supplied and it will appear as an extra drive in My Computer. You can just copy and paste the files you need to your new computer, unfortunately some programs will need to be installed on new comp. Not sure about Comet's customer service to be honest Mike - I've had problems with them in the past and the people who work in Speke store don't know much about computers (in my opinion!). Here's a caddy: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/120659 http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/124997 <-- This one is apparently a 4200 and has a spare port for a graphics card if Josh or you ever decide you want to play more demanding games. It is £80quid more but that can (my opinion) be justified by the increase in speed.. One thing to mention Mike, the newer PC will obviously eat up more energy.

  15. Hi Mike... I wouldn't bother going up to 1gb when 2gb is not much more expensive Mike, 256mb will be slow, 1gb will still be slow (but still quicker - I have 1gb of Ram and pc takes about 3-5mins to start up) but 2gb will be a lot quicker and for £60 you can't complain about the cost The laptop processor is 1.7ghz and this should be enough to cope with demands of some of the newer games, not all though because the graphics card is built into the laptop so you will find that some games will simply not run (im thinking the likes of farcry, doom and half life 2 - basically anything resource intensive. The likes of Pro Evo Soccer will have no problem). Also I would take the plunge into getting a new computer if your pc is being outperformed by those selling for less than £300. The motherboard, processor, RAM and fan upgrade will cost about £200 for a decent set but you have to consider getting a new one for aesthetics purposes Stick to Acer for a desktop, they are a great brand. Personally I favour AMD over Intel processors (generally cheaper but just as good). I recommended one to Romey about three or four months ago.. I don't think he's complained about it yet! This one is decent http://www.ebuyer.com/product/123447/produ.../rb/27961902215 and it's 0% finance until february which works out just less than £50 a month until its paid off The only downfall to this one is the graphics card is built in (onboard) similar to your laptop.

    Kopite Party

A couple was sitting up waiting for their 16 year old Liverpool supporting son to come home from a social engagement when the boy came into the house with a big smile on his face. "Hi, Mum! Hi, Dad! he said breathlessly. "Guess what! I've just had sex for the first time, and it was wonderful!" His mother turned red and said to her husband, "He's your son. You talk to him". Then she left the room. The father said "Son, that's great. Now you've become a man and I'm proud of you. I'm going to celebrate the occasion by buying you that ten-speed bike you've been wanting. I hope you don't mind waiting till payday to get it". "That's OK, Dad", said the boy. "I couldn't ride it right now anyway, my arse is too sore".

  20. Super Eagles forward Nwankwo Kanu at the weekend talked Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger into accepting to coach an African All Star squad in the charity match being put together by the Kanu Heart Foundation, (KHF). Sources close to the Portsmouth player revealed last night that Wenger agreed to honour his ex Gunner in the charity match. Former England manager Brian Robson was on the card to lead the African All Stars tagged Kanu XI but pulled out at the last minute due to family commitment. Wenger resurrected Kanu's career with a place in the London team after Italian Inter Milan got fed up with the Nigerian jewel. Meanwhile, some of Africa’s top players plying their trade in the English Premiership will next weekend drop their club allegiances and pull together to take part in the charity match. The game, being put together for the heart foundation (KHF) the Nigerian international runs, will see an African All-stars taking on Kanu’s Premiership side Portsmouth and will take place at the club’s home ground of Fratton Park a day after the FA Cup final on May 20th. Some of the stars that have agreed to play for the two-time African footballer of the year are the current wearer of the crown Didier Drogba. Also being expected at Fratton Park are his Chelsea team mates Michael Essien and Super Eagles midfielder John Mikel Obi. Others include Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor, who incidentally apart from resembling Papillo physically, has also used ever occasion to say that Kanu is his idol. Other English-based Eagles stars including Newcastle United striker Obafemi Martins, former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha, Everton defender Joseph Yobo and Middlesbrough striker Yakubu could line-up in a 'Friends of Kanu' side. Senegal's Amady Faye (Charlton) and Diomansy Kamara (West Brom) are also expected to take part. After the match, there will also be a fundraising Black Tie Dinner and Gala event at the Port Solent Marriot Hotel where the football stars and guests will be entertained by the TV Comic Gina Yashere. The night will include an auction of football memorabilia and signed items.
