  1. Mark.. apparently there are backers interested (one of which could be Peel Holdings or Carillion). From Toffeeweb:
  2. He signed a three year pro deal last month along with ten or eleven others.
  3. St. Georges Hall will be hosting the plans that have been developed by Keioc on Friday. They are for a redeveloped Goodison and a rumour is that the plans allow the stands to be redeveloped whilst the capacity of the stadium will never be below 39,000.
  4. Obviously not Bill It was interesting to see how Lee Carsley's opinion was edited with what was put in brackets... “I know there is a lot of history attached to Goodison and in many ways it would be a shame to move but you have got to move with the times. In this day and age it is all about attracting top players as well and if you have got a sparkling new stadium to show them it always helps. You just have to look at the facilities at other clubs to realise we are not currently at the level we should be at for a club of our stature. Moving from Goodison to a new stadium (in Kirkby) would resolve that situation. I think it would be fantastic on the corporate side to generate more money for the club so we can go out and compete.”
  5. http://videos.icnetwork.co.uk/liverpoolpos...%20Brochure.pdf This is what has been sent to those elegible to vote
  6. As far as I know crust, Shareholders are normal fans who have parted with the best part of £1500 to buy a share. Apparently this Joe person analyses the finances for the shareholders and normal fans every year and its put up on toffeeweb. I think the only people who begrudge him sharing the information are those at the club and those shareholders who bought the shares to be in the prescence of the 'exclusive few' who like to know the ins and outs at the club
  7. I don't know who he is either, I beleive he is a toffeeweb contributor.
  8. I tell you what I'd quite like.... a biographical programme about past players.. for example a 30min tale about Dave Hickson or someone.
  9. An application to OFCOM has been made by Portland Interactive Limited so that 'Everton TV' can be transmitted on television...
  10. I did this two years ago.. I placed the bet... got the shirt in the post within a week and at end of the season I won £53 back as I had backed Chelsea
  11. An honours list near the away stand entrance listing all the league titles and cup wins. Prince Rupert's Tower in one of the corners (Alex stole my idea from a previous thread ! ) Seating area like in one of the German stadium that is basically a fold up seat so you have the choice to sit or stand for the game. 1878 in white seats against the blue seats We obviously want a blue perimeter around the pitch.. I'd like to see either some former nicknames/monikers painted in (School of Science, Mersey Millionaires, The Black Watch and Grand Old Team(?)) or Nil Satis Nisi Optimum down one length of the pitch and Saint Domingo Football Club down the opposite side. Personally I'd like to see a statue of Harry Catterick and John Moores in addition to Dean with a quote they have said about the club beneath. Take the scaffolding from GP to the new place.
  12. All in here http://www.venturacountyfusion.com/index.c...mp;page_id=5038
  13. answered your own question.. I think it's just because Everton are traditionally North Liverpool not South and see moving to Kirkby as less of a change than Speke.
  14. Aintree racecourse is Mike, I don't know about the Long Lane site though!
  15. Thanks What would you prefer ? Redevelop Goodison, one of those sites or Kirkby?
  16. I saw the headlines about Liverpool CC offering three sites to the club but I didn't buy the papers and I can't find anything on the website - can someone please fill me in as to what was offered?
  17. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/6908927.stm Full Radio Interview: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/networks/me...mott_merseyside
  18. On the continent they charge a fee for loaning players. Thats why Manny cost us £1million before he had even kicked a ball.
  19. I've just got back from there now, it is absolutely heaving. Harry Potter fans everywhere. Geeky kids all have their Hogwarts scarves on and the harry potter scar on their heads. It seemed so bizarre. We're turning into America :|
