  2. On xbox 360 it's the proper kit very nice looking... the reserve squads are in there too. I dont think you get them on ps2 because there is only 25 slots?
  3. I think by injuring Cole.. he's increased his chances of playing again
  4. I rented this today.. i quite like the be a pro-mode.. I was AJ and then Arteta and we won both games.. im not very good at fifa either.
  5. Nice to see Joleon Lescott earn his first cap today and yet another important goal from McFadden against the Ukraine. I hope they can see off Georgia which leaves the pressure firmly on Italy and France . If England were doing aswell as they are a lot of people would be saying we are certs to win the competition. Remaining fixtures: Italy ----- Georgia (H) Scotland (A) Faroe Islands (H) France ------ Lithuania (H) Ukraine (A) Scotland -------- Georgia (A) Italy (H) If France fail to win both their remaining games then 1 win for Scotland sees them through. Assuming France win both then Scotland need to beat Georgia and not lost to Italy to be assured of going through. It's a very tight/exciting group.
  6. You can use xbox 360 controllers on the pc. The wired controllers need a driver installing and they're good The wireless controllers also work but you need one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crossfire-Wireless...331&sr=8-34

  8. I've been reading this month's 442 and in it is a section on dual purpose stadiums Highbury has hosted boxing matches in the past and Loftus Road has hosted Rugby matches which leads me to ask, has Goodison Park ever hosted another major event other than football in the past (despite being the country's first football-intended stadium)?
  9. Xbox live membership costs £40 per year (so you can play other people) You'll need a wireless router if you want to use the wireless adapter (just so you know) The wireless adapater costs around 55 quid.. It's an expensive toy but it's very good. Amazon have a special offer at the moment.. elite and halo 3 or pgr 4 for £299.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...indhotelinth-21 expires on oct 17th so be quick if you want it
  10. Just been on bluekipper website.. they had someone posting overnight stay in Nurenberg cheaper than they were offering flights there and back, they deleted the posts and deleted the users who posted the deal.. bit iffy that. The best deals I've seen are all on www.travelsupermarket.com

  12. UK, October 11, 2007 - If you've been wondering why so many English football teams resort to drafting in foreign players, then Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has got the answer - it's all down to the Xbox. Speaking in his newspaper column, the former footballer said that the working classes are turning their back on the beautiful game because "football cannot compete with an Xbox". He added: "Now I rarely see a kickabout in the park. All I see are the dazzling lights of bedroom windows from the glare of TVs and computers." Very poetic. Redknapp went on to note that poorer countries still have the passion for football because they can't afford consoles, "Maybe they have the hunger and drive that working class boys of England had 30 years ago but now is replaced by videogame passion." On a related note, Football Manager 2008 and Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 are out later this month, which will both no doubt add to the problem. Oh dear
  13. I tried it for 0.00 and it wouldn't accept so maybe he's right :|
  14. http://www.inrainbows.com Radiohead's 7th LP, In Rainbows, is finished and will be released as a digital download on October 10th, in 320kbps MP3 format. You will need a code to download this, which can be pre-ordered on the website. You can choose how much you wish to pay for this. If you don't want to pay anything, you can enter 0.00; if you think you should pay something, you can enter an arbitrary sum.
  15. They released Li Tie this week... it's a shame. I thought he looked quite good in 2002.
  16. We are currently 20/1 favourites to win the competition. I hope we can get through the group stages, but at the moment it's just excellent to be able to see overseas opposition at Goodison on a regular basis.
  17. That 'caveman' looks fantastic. Is he meant to be one of the best players in the world? Chadac or something
  18. Apparently a certain Mr Hibbert frequents that particular Tesco Calico.. so you'd be crazy to want to leave
  19. http://www.eatsleepsport.com/articles/636768.html Barnsley's Simon Davey is set to make another approach to David Moyes to try and keep Anderson de Silva for a third month. The Brazilian midfielder has been a big hit at Oakwell and has already had his loan deal extended by a month on one occasion and now they would like to extend it further. Rules state that he can only extend his deal to a maximum of 93 days although he could make the move permanent when the transfer window opens in January. The 25-year-old from Sao Paula has been ever-present for Barnsley in the league since joining on August 23.
  20. see above... i got most of the info wrong first time, quick edit later and you'd never know.
  21. England U16s squad contains two Everton players.. Jose Baxter and Adam Davies.. It could be a good game.. playing Northern Ireland at Blackpool. It's live on Sky Sports two at 7:30pm, repeated friday morning sky sports one 9:30am.
  22. There are only a maximum of 850 tickets being allocated to Everton apparently. This is becaused UEFA only allow 5% of a stadium capacity to be given to away fans. Their capacity is just over 17,000.
  23. From what I've been told, German sailors used to eat 'Labskaus' on the ships and they shared the recipe with people in Liverpool. Because people enjoyed the recipe, over time they have been become skausers / scousers.
