  1. Robinsons for not catching the cross.. imo.. from the FA site
  2. Looks like we're not going to euro 2008
  3. What's that all about then? I use Azureus, am I missing out?
  4. Lescott starts against the Russians, it looks freezing there whenever you see them breath, you can see a cloud
  5. Liverpool Manchester Bristol London Birmingham Sheffield Nottingham I can't thnk of one 'town' that has two or more clubs :|
  6. I'm guessing... goals for Scotland. If Scottish people and Evertonians all vote for him he will walk it.
  7. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tv_and_rad...ear/7038193.stm James Mcfadden has been shortlisted for the sports personality of the year award.
  8. It's funny how the press are commenting on who to play left back against Russia, Neville or Lescott, yet the person who plays left back for us is English and not in the squad.. the mind boggles!
  9. I've heard that he's in France watching the world cup...... and that's why he's not been around!
  10. Also because Lescott played for England, we paid Wolves £250,000 due to a clause in the contract.
  11. I was watching the Sunday Supplement on sky, one of the journos said the exact same thing saying it's too big a risk playing Lescott at left back because he's too experienced - someone from the Daily Star of all papers put him in his place and said that he plays there often for Everton.
  12. I know what it says Mr Fish.. It's the same as the people but in Spanish. You never know, this adverse publicity might make Arteta more reknown in his home country and lead to a call up
  13. I'm more worried about this one: http://www.marca.com/edicion/marca/futbol/...lo/1046536.html I hope it's nonsense though saying that, the above article is citingthe source as the people.
  14. Mikel Arteta's agent insists he is not surprised by reports that Spanish giants Real Madrid are interested in the Everton midfielder. Arteta has been in superb form for David Moyes' side this season and the Spanish press are linking him with a return to his homeland as Real coach Bernd Schuster looks to shake up his squad at the Bernabeu. The midfielder's agent Inaki Ibanez told Spanish sports newspaper Marca: "No-one from Real Madrid has come to us. But it is normal that a great club is interested in Arteta because he is doing very well." The 25-year-old has also been linked to Chelsea and Real Zaragoza in recent weeks. Hardly denying anything... it'll be a travesty if he's allowed to leave. Personally I think he should be forced to live in Goodison Road and be shackled to the stadium like a dog so he doesn't wander.
  15. I watched 6 episodes back to back of curb your enthusiasm last night. great stuff
  16. City Council to fight for Everton 15/10/07 Keep Everton in Our City would like to bring it to your attention that tomorrow evening, at 5pm, the following motion is going before Liverpool City Council : "This City Council, mindful of the public agreement between the leader of the council and the leader of the opposition to work together to secure the Everton Football Club's future within the City's boundaries, calls on the Chief Executive to arrange for a meeting to take place between the leader of the Council, the leader of the opposition, together with the appropriate officers to discuss the following : What is Everton Football Club's formal position on the proposed move to Kirkby? If there is any prospect of Everton Football Club staying within the City? Everton Football Club's position with regard to the suitability of sites within Liverpool that have been proposed by Liverpool City Council? What are Everton Football Club's requirements in terms of land? What assistance Everton Football Club would require from Liverpool City Council to relocate or develop Goodison Park?" Also at this meeting, KEIOC will be making a short presentation to the City Council on the benefits of keeping the club within the city. We urge anyone who would like to show their support of this motion to attend the Council meeting at the Town Hall at 5pm on Tuesday, October 16th.
  17. I know it's the sun but.. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article340490.ece
  18. There was an article in the people last year which said there was a stand-off between Moyes and JPK because JPK refused to cut his hair. Honestly. However an agreement was made when JPK agreed to a trim instead.. riveting. http://www.people.co.uk/sport/sportconfide...-name_page.html Both stories are by someone called Tom Hopkinson..
  19. I've never known anyone to want to swap LA for Litherland before!
  20. Also Carsley nearly scored for Republic of Ireland thanks to a mis-hit cross, Lehman had to back track to knock it over the bar.
