  1. I don't know if anybody has heard this but apparently the club were offered 4,600 tickets from Nurenberg. They've returned 2,000 leaving 2,600. Apparently aproximately 6,000 are expected to make the trip over. Seems like a bad decision? If it's true possible conclusions - the club don't want any trouble in Germany so limiting the number of fans who can gain entry to the ground. they have only purchased enough to cover their own official trips and because a ticket is guaranteed they can charge what they like?
  2. Today I went to Gordale in Neston and the christmas decorations are up as is Santa's Grotto.. It's still bloody October!
  3. A man has been shot by his dog while on a hunting trip in the United States. (Advertisement) Adblock James Harris, 37, was shot in the leg after one of his hunting dogs stepped on his gun. He had put the shotgun on the ground in order to retrieve a pheasant that had just been shot. Up to 120 birdshot pellets hit him in the left calf at short range, according to authorities in Iowa. A local official said the injury was not life-threatening, but would "give him trouble for a long time". Alan Foster, a spokesman for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, said it was not uncommon for hunters to be shot by their dogs. He said: "I hear about it a couple times a year. "They'll step on the trigger assembly and, if the gun for whatever reason wasn't on safety, it doesn't take a whole lot to trip a trigger." Mr Harris was treated at Grinnell Regional Medical Centre and later transported by helicopter to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, following the accident in Poweshiek County. An investigation into the accident is under way.
  4. I've heard about him but never seen him, featured last year's Victory Shield? I know he's in the new Football Manager though! Is he a proper Welshman or English in a Welsh school? More importantly is he a blue
  5. Congratulations Adam Personally, I wouldn't get the club crest done because it changes every decade or two. I remember reading about an Arsenal fan who had his done and the next day the club announced they were going to modernise the Arsenal crest.
  6. The clue was in the username Mike.... http://www.60mins.tv I noticed that there is a Chris Woods one there. Apparently only 1,000 get made but £25/£35 seems a bit steep. Maybe tens of years down the line they will be worth that though?
  7. Was it a mistake to join Everton when Arsenal also wanted you? You played under Harvey, Gabriel and Walker - did you have a personal favourite? What were the different management styles? Should Colin Harvey have been given more time to turn it around? What in your opinion is the main reason for Everton's underacheivement in in the nineties; Mismanagment in the board room, Heysel disaster or another reason? What was going through your head at the time of THAT penalty against the Wimbledon in 1994, it would have taken you up to 100 goals. We were two-nil down, we needed to win that game to stay up. Is it fair to say you bottled it? Did you have a new found respect for Graham Stuart ? Did you ever watch the FA Cup win in 1995 and think to yourself "I should have stayed another year, it should have been me"? Do you think you should have won more than seven England caps when your league record between 1982 and 1996 was a goal every two and a half games - an average of 15 a season? As a southerner who joined Everton from a London club, did you find it hard to adjust and settle in Liverpool? Do you think Andy Johnson is homesick or is the national press trying to prise him out of Everton by unsettling him? Why did you choose to play in Malaysia? Is playing in abroad something you'd recommend to moden day players ? Which current premiership player is the most similar to yourself? Everton are in talks with Tesco and Kirkby Council with regards to moving to a new stadium. Is the board right to move Everton out of Liverpool boundaries?
  8. and Martyn, Yobo etc.. face it Moyes is a good manager
  9. It'll save us money on flights to Europe in the long run too.

  12. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_2831114,00.html Tim Cahill has handed Everton a boost by declaring he would be happy to end his career at Goodison Park. The Australian, who marked his return to action with a goal against Larissa in the Uefa Cup on Thursday, says he is content with life on Merseyside. The former Millwall star signed a new long-term deal at Everton in the summer and he admits he would be delighted to stay at the club even longer. Career "There's a great camaraderie and ability here and if I go on to play the rest of my career at Goodison I'll be the happiest player ever," Cahill told The People. "There was a lot of talk in the summer about me moving on but I signed a new deal because this club is getting bigger and bigger. "We have a state of the art training ground, there's a new stadium on the way and we have a manager who wants success - that's what made me stay. "The fans like me, I like them. There's mutual respect. We should be looking at top six in the Premier League every season and hopefully some cup runs along the way. We're in mid-table now but hopefully not for long." Fitness Cahill, who has been blighted by two broken metatarsals in the last six months, has revealed he may have to cut back on his international commitments with Australia to safeguard his fitness. "Now I have to be careful because I want to be around for a long time, which will mean limiting appearances for my country," concluded Cahill.
  13. Apparently Ramos has been give 40million by Spurs to spend.. Not looking good for us anymore without investment, being Spanish he'd also be aware of a lot of South American talent coming through.. only a good thing for Spurs but I hope he cocks them up big style :| I'm a bit disappointed by his appointment as I actually rate him, not many managers have won the UEFA Cup back to back (if any).
  14. OMD - All wrapped up (my mum has the albums) Every time i think of you I feel shot right through with a bolt of blue It's no problem of mine but it's a problem I find Living a life that I can't leave behind There's no sense in telling me The wisdom of a fool won't set you free But that's the way that it goes
  15. It's good to see that he has started his own charity helping those who are less fortunate, he's sponsoring hundreds of Nigerian children through schools and university aswell as looking to start his own football academy. "Although I grew up in an average family and managed to finish secondary school, other people around us were not so fortunate. I am from the Niger-Delta, so something good has come out from there. "There were people who were not able to realise their potential, even though they were brilliant, because their families could not afford to take them all the way. "What I am doing with this foundation is to help people in a similar situation achieve their full potential in whatever they do, and I am proud to be able to help." "I am starting in my area because charity begins at home, but my vision is to take this project to every part of Nigeria. "When I went to the homes of abandoned kids and those living with HIV/Aids I was close to tears and begin to appreciate how lucky some of us are in this world. "Such places make you feel sad and I have vowed to do the best I can to help relieve their struggle." http://www.josephyobofoundation.org Fact: Did you know Joseph Yobo's older brother has also played for Nigeria?
  16. Terrible this.. I ask people what they think of a song and on the same page someone asks for advice on attaining a threesome with twins..
  17. http://www.toffeetalk.com/Eggert-Magnusson...-Usa-t8444.html I don't want a Premiership game over there but I'm happy for the Charity Shield game to go over (providing money still goes to Charity that is).
  18. http://www.fulhamfc.com/Club/News/NewsArti...usVNigeria.aspx £18 for an international game is good value isn't it. Cahill vs Yobo, Yak and Anichebe - it could be a good day out.
  19. I've heard that they have a guy called Henri Lansbury who is going to be world class.
