The best Gold Cup I remember was 2011, 2013 was a disappointment. I'm not remarking on the outcome of the final but the overall enjoyment I had from the tournament. I remember seeing Joel Campbell for the first time thinking he would go on to much bigger things - I think he was still at Saprissa at the time.

I don't think they were that great considering it was on BBC - less than 2 million watched the Japan game and that was on BBC 1 (albeit at midnight).

This is currently doing the rounds. It's two American cops who arrest someone for stealing from a local supermarket. They find him in the toilets of a restaurant. He calmly walks outside and then pulls a gun out on the female cop, the male copy pushes him away and then the cops both shoot him (presumably dead). It's surprisingly how quick it all happens and how quickly the police respond to the situation. http://youtubedoubler.com/fTEL It's later found that it was BB gun but as the videos show there's little time to react.

The festivals have lost their appeal to me. I like the BBC coverage where you can select who'd you like to see at your own convenience but I wouldn't like to go to one.

It just didn't appeal to me so I'll give that one a miss.

I was going to get PS4 / Arkham Knight but I was put off by the way the DLCs are spread across various retailers. If I want to play a game, I'd like to play it all. I'll probably wait until a complete version is sold.

I can't quite nail down why I'm not interested in this. It's not because it's women, I watch athletics occasionally. It's not to do with on field quality, I watch all kinds of obscure and exotic international football if I find a stream (also, occasionally) I find myself watching the Copa America on Youtube rather than the Women's World Cup. It just doesn't interest me and I just can't fathom why.
