  1. Colchester's new stadium looks similar:
  2. I think they've give up on the idea it costs £150m now. They say it's worth £130million and that Everton are contributing to £78million and there's a shortfall of £52million with a grant from NWDA for £10million. £130million/50000 = £2600 per seat http://www.knowsley.gov.uk/resources/22832...alStatement.pdf A lot of information there such as how fans will be charged to park. Tesco have also made some changes to the stadium plans to reduce costs, the stadium car park is now no longer underground and they are reducing the number of park and ride services.

  4. I was surprised they never built a tran station into it as it goes directly above the rail below
  5. According to french press, these two were being watched by Everton scouts yesterday. Moustapha Sall Senegal & St. Etienne Bafétimbi Gomis France youth and St. Etienne The new Drogba apparently... Km4UaqCFdzk
  6. Who's this ? System of a Down?
  7. it's funny but i don't like ending with a Tesco spokesman, there was no need for one.. 2,000 jobs of which 350 are permanent for Kirkby residents :\
  8. http://www.karen-earl.co.uk/insideinfo.cfm...view&id=318 Kirkby deal must include kit sponsorship, there is no way it's worth £4.5million per annum, it's a retail park stadium on the outskirts!
  9. Everton have asked Ampersand to find a deal with 67.5million over 15 years for stadium naming rights. That's £18million more than Arsenal were given for the Emirates.
  10. Thread Closed.. I've got more than enough questions and I wittled it down to 20 in the end.

  12. I'm surprised there's not more questions here tbh..
  13. We've got our equivalent to the Kop, the toilets in the Gwladys Street!
  14. Not for the reasons you may be thinking... Because Merseytravel don't have resources for the park and ride scheme (163 buses minimum are needed), transport consultants Steer Davies Gleave has suggested that Everton request Saturday evening and Sunday kick off times when demand on local public transport isn't so great so fans are able to get to the stadium. No, i'm not a week too late for Aprils fool. That's real.
  15. Suggest as many as you want, I'll pick the best ones.
  16. I'll put two into the hat... Were you surprised to recieve the call from David Moyes to take up the assistant managerial position when you had no prior experience and were more reknown for being a talented youth coach? Long winded one now. The proposed Everton stadium requires the largest park and ride scheme in the country to be able to accomodate all home supporters, the local railway station can cope with less than 8% of stadium capacity per hour and 1,000 people are expected to cycle to the game, Kirkby residents don't want Everton on their doorstep and have created a political party to keep them out. David Moyes is also thought not to be too keen on the plans to relocate the club to a retail park in Kirkby, do you think Kirkby is the right location for Everton FC?
  17. Former Everton player and assistant manager Alan Irvine has agreed to an exclusive interview with ToffeeTalk.com on Friday 11th April. Get your questions in!
  18. http://www.bbc.co.uk/liverpool/content/ima...gallery.shtml?1 It looks great, I wonder if there are plans for an Everton club shop there

  20. It looks like I was wrong it was in the Post and the Echo yesterday!
  21. I assure you that's a coincidence! Keith Wyness has opened himself to abuse by wanting legal action though, it brings in unwanted speculation to the ground move. Unfortunately, it won't get much press coverage (Echo/Post deal, not big enough story for the nationals).
