  1. I take it that Manny Fernandes wins young player of the season then?
  2. Carsley could be off to Birmingham: http://www.eatsleepsport.com/articles/733183.html David Sullivan said He fits the bill and his family are all Birmingham fans anyway.

  4. Cheer up Mike, you can say he's half the man you are. 'appy birthday squire.
  5. Not looking forward to a Barmby return with Hull then?
  6. It's wrong to single out one player because they suffered an illness in my opinion. I think a better idea would be to host a testimonial game at Goodison against one of the larger European teams and give the proceeds to the former players foundation.
  7. I know Mike, but you didn't link to the source.. It's bad TT etiquette. We can't go around creating topics willy nill about players we think would improve the squad. *ahem* <- hypocrite.

  9. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/sport/articl...snub/article.do See.. I was right, Everton are interested (Okay so it was my own rumour but it's in the papers now).
  10. http://www1.talksport.net/index.asp?id=102661&c=&t= Discussing the stadium, finishing 5th and investment..
  11. I've just looked.. it's not. Have you changed it?
  12. £1.5million if they win Champions League I think
  13. There's somebody who posts on the Bluekipper website under the username 'GoodisonTec'. Many people believe this poster to be the club's head of public relations, Ian Ross. He said that Everton do not own Goodison Park as it is mortgaged and the club will only receive a portion of the £15million valuation if it's sold on.
  14. I think they'll try and put the bulk aside for the new stadium to be honest but obviously Moyes (and many fans) will have other ideas. Apparently he's handed in a list of transfer targets to the board already
  15. He's worth £50million (personally, not as a player) so might be willing to take a severe wage reduction and Moyes was interested when he was at Madrid and I don't think he would get wages that high again anywhere, granted he's not the player he was but he has almost 89 caps and 40 goals and is still an international player. He's 28, his family still live near Chester.. I think he'd be interested to be honest.
  16. According to a newspaper report, Mike Ashley has said he will allow Owen's contract to run down and Owen will be available on a free transfer. He currently earns £115,000 a week (£6m per annum). I think he would be a good signing if we could get his wages down? He was once a blue afterall..
  17. Moyes says that he hasn't been offered anything yet Keith Wyness says they are in deep talks Express run a story on the matchday from a boardroom source stoppnig short of calling Moyes a liar and that Kenwright is "seething" with Moyes. Moyes in post-match interview indicates that contract talks will start next week (contradicting Wyness' claim that talks have begun). In the words of Marvin Gaye.. "what's going on?"
  18. Had we had a few quality players brought in, in January we really could have pushed for that fourth place. Not many teams can say they a couple of players away from breaking into the top four. I can happily say Everton can.
  19. Darijo Srna? If so that's a very good call. He is an excellent crosser too
  20. David Moyes publiclly thanked Wessels for his services after the game and said he would be leaving. Gravesen also returns to Celtic. Sad day for Carsley if it was his last game.
  21. http://www.thefa.com/England/SeniorTeam/Ne..._SquadNamed.htm Lescott is having a knee operation so has not been called up.
  22. We all know that the proposed Stadium is for Kirkby in Knowsley. If it goes ahead the Official club store is to be built next to the stadium in a retail unit. Finch Farm, the training Ground already built in Halewood, Knowsley Everton In The Community also plans to relocate it's office to Knowsley according to the planning documents. Although Walton MP Peter Kilfoyle said that EITC have promised to carry on their work within his area occasionally on his website. There are plans to build a Coaching complex in Cronton, Knowsley similar to what Bolton have (http://www.bwfccoaching.co.uk). The only full-time presence Everton will have in Liverpool if they don't introduce a new club store in the city will be a display in a local sports store.
  23. I'm taking the above article with a pinch of salt. Where as Daily Mail usually try and stick the knife in to Everton whenever they can. I think David Moyes is doing his business in public (not to the extent of Rafa Benitez leaking his transfer targets to the press!) - he has said on a couple of occassions recently that he is really pushing Bill Kenwright for extra transfer funds.
