  1. There's another one here Dangermouse: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A39031869 From a Spurs fan..
  2. Personally, I think it's his skewered way of having a go at the Lib Dem council.
  3. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/...100252-21450732 I think the truth has been stretched but overall I agree with it, it's just a shame that this wasn't printed whilst Wyness was still at the club, it all seems a bit spineless to me.
  4. Apparently.. just rumours.. the defender Ross Barkley is meant to be a good prospect.
  5. Independent not helping things... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footbal...ace-883343.html
  6. It was meant to go ahead at half eight.. nothing has happened. I don't know what the problem was.
  7. How do you mean something in the way? like what?
  8. on the official site: http://www.evertonfc.com/evertoninteractive/toffee-talk.html Good name for a chat segment on the site hey!?
  9. I'm not going to post any more Wyness related rumours. Bill Kenwright has said there are funds available and I'll take his word for it. DangerMouse - We are at opposite ends on the Kirkby debate and I don't think that will change but I assure you I'm not enjoying myself posting rumours about why Keith Wyness has departed (although I am relieved he has left the club). The rumours I posted are from people who have been proven correct in the past and I felt it suitable to share them with the regulars on here. Carl - Thanks for the respect
  10. We were 2-0 down but someone called Hallam Hope scored a hat trick. He scored 9 goals in the tournament and was top scorer.
  11. Everton beat Wolves to life the Milk Cup (Junior) tournament this year. Congratulations to all involved (if they read this!).
  12. Here's another rumour to help you sleep.. http://members.boardhost.com/peoplesforum/...1217543543.html
  13. Everton interested in signing this guy apparently. Name: Pontus Engblom Squad number: 16 Position: Forward Date of birth: 3rd November 1991 http://www.st.nu/sport/index.php?action=vi...l&id=749347
  14. The following is a post on another forum, I've tidied it up a bit:
  15. “We can’t hide the fact that we need new players. Everybody knows it. We have to get five or six players in before the season starts.” When asked if he could see any imminent movement in the transfer market - Sporting Lisbon’s Joao Moutinho tops the wanted list - Moyes replied: “Not at the moment, no. We are in a poor, poor situation regarding going forward.” http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/...00252-21440841/
  16. Even better when they bought him for £1.5million only three years ago - I think that your valuation is a bit low though
  17. I missed the Sky report again, typical. If Green bought the club and allowed Kenwright to stay on as non-executive chairman then I daresay everyone would be happy but Green doesn't want to become officially involved with Everton for some reason.
  18. To be honest... I don't know if it's legal but having heavyweights like Philip Green and Pini Zinhavi on Everton's side in negotiations is excellent news. I don't know where this leaves the ground move now though, I presume Everton can't admit they don't want it to go ahead because they'll end up paying Tesco money for the work they put in.
  19. Alan Myers the SKY presenter used to work for Everton as a media officer so has some friends at the club. Apparently Pini Zinhavi (one of the super agents) is negotiating transfers for Everton now. I didn't see the report and they havn't repeated it, it's cricket nonsense and Liverpool playing a friendly in Villareal which has been shown 3 times now.
  20. According to Mihir Bose (BBC Journalist), Wyness departed on Philip Green's say so.
  21. I received an email about it. Interesting tidbit - St Modwens are also standing off against Tesco, Tesco threatened to pull out of the Project Jennifer redevelopment if St Modwens opposed Kirkby. St Modwens also did a development in Skelmersdale which would be effected if Destination Kirkby goes ahead. St Modwens have now booted Tesco out of the Project Jennifer project because of the threats and Tesco are saying they won't let them to choose another Supermarket because they own some of the land. It's all coming to a head - it's quite exciting!
  22. Robert Elstone - Wyness' deputy has gone too apparently!
