  1. In the papers today.. front page no less.. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/7098...ayne-and-Coleen Load of nonsense really isn't it.
  2. Booking offices all over the country will now have Rogan's face plastered on the walls
  3. Former Belfast taxi driver turns commonwealth heavyweight champion. Not bad for a 37yr old who only turned pro in 2004. Fought 12, won 12, 6 knock outs.
  4. What are people's views on this - should the xbox gamertag icons stay or be removed? I was considering leaving them in the system but making the icon smaller and also adding Playstation ones for those who are interested. It's the section under the user name on the left.
  5. I don't, the u18 games are played in Halewood (8miles from city centre) and the reserve games are played in Halton (16 miles from city centre). In my opinion the distance puts people off going and larger attendances could be had at Goodison
  6. Well... there's a few free games knocking around: http://www.steampowered.com/nvidia/ go here if you have nvidia card or here if you have an ATI card http://www.steampowered.com/ati_offer1a/
  7. Try portal demo here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/410/ Also... there is this to try (bit too geeky/pointless): http://www.aperturescience.com/ type in the word "Login" then type in your username (anything will do) password: PORTAL
  8. Yep... it's a best seller.. http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/3383507/Ha...ox/Product.html I'd recommend it
  9. http://portal.wecreatestuff.com/portal.php I enjoyed that
  10. If your postcode is in here: http://videos.icnetwork.co.uk/liverpoolpos...esPostcodes.xls You could grab yourself a free bike by filling in this form: http://www.letstravelwise.org/cycling/free...-liverpool.html
  11. I hope they don't allow it... according to some specialists it could increase the number of muscle injuries because 20mins is enough time for player's muscles to recover and they'd need to warm up again. We'd have throw ins sponsored by Rainham steel if Scudamore had his way. FIFA are becoming just as bad.
  12. We should try and get addresses for these places. It'd be interesting to see if we could track down some photos for the site when it opens.
  13. I think the BNP cancelled because it would be bad PR to go ahead with it having cost the club tv revenue and also putting out 35,000+ people for travel arrangements.
  14. It seems the march/leafletting has been cancelled, I don't know whether the game will be moved back to the Saturday though? Apparently club offiicals were unhappy because they lost thousands of pounds in tv revenue due to the rescheduling: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/fe...-national-party Andy Burnham has said given his thoughts too: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/fe...rleague-everton
  15. I don't know if I like it or not http://www.mcwade.com/DesignTalk/2009/02/d...s-new-logo-work
  16. Kitbag run the stores of: Aston Villa Barcelona Celtic Chelsea FIFA World Cup Formula One Man Utd West Ham Umbro Nike Reebok Rugby Football Union Wimbledon http://www.epltalk.com/everton-agree-new-s...and-kitbag/3837 is the source of the story I think I should be on commission for the amount of advertising Kitbag are getting out of me!
  17. http://www.toffeeweb.com/season/08-09/comm...missionID=10928 An excellent read..
  18. Ok.. He was commercial manager at Everton and used to work for New Brighton Rugby Club too (at the same time). He was with the club for around 4/5 years but was at New Brighton before that as Director of Rugby. The only things I can remember are a deal with Royal Liver Insurance he set up and the foreign language versions of the official website. He tried to buy Chester City in 2007. He's a former rugby player for Bath, Bristol & Gloucester and England youth international.
  19. Not sure, I think it may be the first time. I hope they call it "Everton Two" though, it'd look good on the advertisements, Everton Two, Liverpool One
  20. I'm surprised that a few people do not rate Fellaini, I think he is an excellent player.
  21. Just as well there's a tv in the room too eh?
  22. I think I may be the only person who listened to this? Elstone is concerned about the stadium's transport and says we have 2 years to sort it out if planning permission is given. He says the club have realised that there was information given out to fans that will not come to fruition, he said the club didn't knowingly tell porkies. He thinks the club made a good account of themselves at the inquiry. He says Everton have been trying to find a long-term solution since 1999 and that they have held talks with Liverpool City Council. A Labour officer from LCC rang in the show and said LCC hadn't done as much as they could but the proverbial heads need knocking together. If the show becomes available to listen to again, I'll post the link.
