Hi Franco I don't know why Everton chose blue and white shorts but they were first worn in 1901. Originally It was blue/white stripes like but they were replaced with black because it was easier to clean. To be honest, I don't rate him either.. he looks a different player to the confident one you see playing for CSKA on Youtube. He always looks awkward and out of place when I've see him play.
