  1. EW very kindly paid for 2009. This is now a second appeal for 2010
  2. You have got to admire the selective publishing of comments on the official site. Some press reports are already stating that Goodison has been ruled out, which is a shame.
  3. Since November 2001 under the guise of efc-online or since April 2003 as standalone ToffeeTalk - choose whatever you want Donate whenever you like Not moved yet Bill!
  4. If anyone would like to donate to TT's hosting cost for this year, then please feel free to do so ! Invoice Items Premier Package - toffeetalk.com (26/01/2010 - 25/01/2011) £38.25 ------------------------------ ------------------------ Sub Total: £38.25 15.00% VAT: £5.74 Credit: £0.00 Total: £43.99 If anyone would be so kind as to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated: Paypal - admin@toffeetalk.com The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that there would have been money left over from donations last year. There was and I introduced two other services to the site using that money and my own which I thought will improve the site: IP Blog - users can create their own blogs (sadly no one took the option up other than Jamie) IP Content - to be used in conjunction with the site relaunch which is taking a while to get started, for now I've put up a few player profiles until I get to work scripting the site properly. It will allow people to comment on and rate articles using their TT login. You should see the benefits of this in the near future - I've got some plans but they will take a while to organise and implement (I say this every year!). The combined cost of those two features was around £60.

  10. Nigeria (read Yak and Yobo) are due to play up to six games in January. January 12th versus Egypt January 16th versus Benin January 20th versus Mozambique I can see Nigeria coming away with 6 or 7 points. Possible 25th - Quarter 28th - Semis 30th or 31st Jan - Playoff/Final So it looks like we'll miss them for the following games: Carlisle Arsenal Man City FA Cup 4th Round Sunderland Wigan
  11. Maybe this has something to do with it? http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/top-football-clubs-in-battle-to-sign-11yearold-prodigy-541856.html Adam's father, Ronnie, 41, a community sports worker, who was once a schoolboy player for Everton, said: "I've stopped taking Adam to games now because I just get pestered by agents and club officials all the time; they talk through the match. I want him to wait until he is old enough to cope with the knocks as well as the luxuries that football brings."

  13. Can't really argue, he hasn't been as impressive this time around.
  14. He was pretty good for us but we had to sell him due to having no money. He went to Liverpool though - surprisingly not that many people hold it against him.
