  1. I can't agree with you Mike to be honest, I don't agree with all of the article but I find myself agreeing with the majority of it.

  5. I went to Sunderland in Spring last year... it's like a big Liscard. The stadium's probably the best thing there.
  6. Witsel seems to be interested: http://www.mercato36...le-point-.shtml
  7. "If Portsmouth earn it they deserve it but if you don't apply to go into it, and don't do the right things, then you can't expect to be in there," the Everton manager argued. "I have sympathy with the situation the club are in, and what Avram has done is nothing short of miraculous under the circumstances. You'd have to ask why Portsmouth didn't apply. "Did they not apply because they didn't think they were going to make it? Then maybe they don't deserve to win the appeal as they didn't believe enough in their team. Did they not apply because they had done it late or not had the right people in place? Then that's a mistake internally and they have to abide by the rules like everybody else." http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/apr/14/portsmouth-david-moyes-roberto-martinez
  8. http://www.lasvegasw.../his-name-earl/ He's had to sell his Planet Hollywood resort because of cash-flow problems seemingly but he's been asked to retain his place as the group's Chairman. This shouldn't effect Everton in anyway but it might be of interest to some. Interestingly it mentions he was trying to re-boot Planet Hollywood's brand...surely placing that brand on Everton (whether it be shirt sponsorships or adverts around the pitch) could have helped
  9. I think it's how many players your academy brings into professional football (any division). There's a comprehensive list on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finch_Farm#Past_Academy_Players

  12. http://www.7sur7.be/...u-Clasico.dhtml Fellaini was dining with Zidane and Fiorentino Perez recently and papers link him with a move to Real.
  13. hirsute = hairy Surprised that Fellaini is wanted in defence though.
  14. To be honest, Im curious about his age. According to that article he was born in September 1995 making him 14 today.. Yet he was 14 two years ago. http://www.liberians...4/ShowPost.aspx - 14 in 2008 http://news.globaltv...6821/story.html - says he is 16 (2010)

  17. Some of you might find this website interesting: http://www.footballm...s.moonfruit.com It'd be pretty cool to see a scaled version of Goodison.
  18. I saw this on television a while ago, the players were given around 30 seconds to draw it from what I remember. I don't understand why people would buy it though?
  19. There's a new Joe Mercer biography coming out in the next few weeks. There's a few sample pages available at http://www.facebook....ng/266700661882 From what I can see it's mainly Man City related but it may be of interest to some people.
  20. There were leaflets given out about it beforehand - possibly why.
  21. Pointless really, nothing interesting was said. Best bit was Colin Murray saying that Rafa could be called a Fat Spanish Waiter on air but Torres can't be called a transvestite.
  22. Because he got the name of the baby wrong a while ago
  23. Did you know by heart then?
