Parry paid £4.5m to leave Imagine the compensation Benitez is asking for - MikeO's BBC article says "Benitez, who could receive somewhere between £10m and £15m in compensation were he to be sacked by Liverpool" - no wonder they don't sack him.

I'm hoping they beat Stockport and that Exeter lose so that Tranmere survive for another year in League One. If they do stay up they're very likely to be amongst favourites for relegation next year.

Clubs are in talk with Marseille over signing Ghanian Ayew. Everton supposed to be one of them. His agents want to drag it out until after the World Cup because they think that after a successful world cup showing, his wage demands can rise.
