  2. Just seen this on the news, not good. I hope he recovers.
  3. Why is Mandeville wearing a sanitary towel?
  4. Sorry, can't find a link for this. Apparently Everton have been looking at 20 year old Ghanian international Kwadwo Asamoah. He plays for Udinese in midfield and was close to signing for Fiorentina but the agent wanted more money and has said that he'd prefer to deal with an English club. Udinese have said they want $20m US Dollars so it probably puts this one to bed!
  5. Pretty cool advert. Shame Lucas left
  6. A high-ranking Pakistani diplomat reportedly cannot be appointed ambassador to Saudi Arabia because in Arabic his name translates into a phrase more appropriate for a porn star, referring to the size of male genitals, Foreign Policy reported. The Arabic transaltion of Akbar Zeb to "biggest d**k" has overwhelmed Saudi officials who have refused to allow his post there. Zeb has run into this problem before when Pakistan tried to appoint him as ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, where he was rejected for the same reason, according to Foreign Policy. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2010/02/04/diplomat-dirty-word-arabic-rejected-saudi-ambassador/

  8. I like KOTOR, I played KOTOR2 but it messed up in such a way that I wasn't able to complete it and required me to start again and I lost interest. I've not played this MMORPG game though - I'm scared of being addicted!
  9. http://www.kickette.com/suit-styles-everton-fc-end-of-season-awards/ Apparently Fellaini hasn't got any style?

  11. I think he'll end up signing, if anything just to promote the Everton name in USA.
  12. I don't think there'll be any coaches to Oz. I'll find out about Norwich for you though.
  13. Just look at it (it towers over the old Ninian Park which is to the left), perhaps bland is a better word: It's a shame they couldn't use the Millennium Stadium
  14. Joe Anderson? I don't know, I didn't hear the interview.
  15. A new breakaway league could materialise in Spain. Currently the larger clubs take the majority of tv money from league and the smaller clubs are contemplating creating their own league where tv money is distributed evenly similar to the Premier League.
  16. I'm glad I'm not the only who think it's a waste of money offering £40k a week.
  17. Did you notice Jeff Stelling with St. George flag painted on his belly? Bobby Robson did a few Carlsberg adverts so perhaps it's a nod to that?
  18. Now available online: http://www.radiocity.co.uk/Article.asp?id=1804112&spid=36294
  19. The interviewer asked explicitly about Celtic, not had that before. There were rumours that Moyes was more of a Rangers man but played for Celtic.
  20. Adidas and Nike pay the clubs per shirts hold (lower divisions pay Adidas/Nike and hope to make a profit on their name by selling more kits) LCS pay up front

  22. I'm very happy with this result. Both teams deserve to be in the Premier League. I like the idea of Cardiff being in the Premier League because the potential of the club is immense, it'd be good to see Cardiff bring Welsh internationals with Prem Experience through their academy (however Peter Ridsdale and the new stadium are equally bad). Blackpool - a North West club full of history with a few Everton links (Alan Ball, Gordon West). It'd also be nice to see them finish Bloomfield Road with the new found riches!
