It's also 3 miles or so (all hotels are in a different direction). There isn't much to do around there as far as I know. So far I would say MikeO's link is the best value. Also the Aachen Hotel may be worth looking at. It's a B&B just outside the city centre (Mount Pleasant is the name of the road, it's a steep hill), 5 minute walk into the city downhill! http://www.aachenhotel.co.uk/

What MikeO has linked above is ok, it's 2.7 miles from Goodison too but it's a straight road. There are some nice B&Bs near Sefton Park but that's Aigburth and slightly further away from Goodison (six miles or so). Mike (better known as Mick here?) I'm with you Mark. It's not so much selling Rodwell, it's how people will react to selling Rodwell. He's older than Rooney was when he left and I don't think he'll reach the heights that Rooney has. £25m is good business but I don't think it'd be that high personally.

Bought the third one today too whilst it was on offer ! Also there was an interview on IGN with the Batman Arkham Asylum developers, they say that Arkham City will not have a multi-player version. I'm not bothered about that though, single player was good enough

I enjoyed the single player of MW2, I don't expect much from them now to be honest. The turnaround between the games indicated to me that it wouldn't be all it's cracked up to be. I've ordered Assasins Creed 2 too, I didn't like the first one to begin with but slowly I learned to love it. I was disappointed that I didn't get the conversationalist achievement and I'm not going to play it again just for that.
