  3. Yeah, I think you're right. Someone should tell Dario Gradi they're not related: "We have a boy who has been playing in Scotland. A lot of people want their nephews to come here because we have a good reputation of making them into something and moving them on." If the rumours persist, Ewan may be getting birthday presents after all !
  4. I may be misreading it, but doesn't Big Moyesy suggest they are related to DM and not EM?

  6. Presumably.. we can fill the squad with cheap South Americans now
  7. It's too easy to forget just how little Moyes has had (net) comparatively to other managers at clubs. Indian Everton, ask him! http://twitter.com/#.../thevijaymallya
  8. I like Bily. I think I'd rather stick with him than sell and sign a 29 year old Landon Donovan whose main asset, pace is likely to dwindle over the next couple of seasons.
  9. From what I've read, the Liver bird was chosen because it wasn't copyrighted and it was synonymous with EFC before LFC were formed.
  10. I was surprised to see Everton above the NY Giants and NY Jets.
  11. This happened outside the recent Fan Conference http://www.nsno.co.u...ans-conference/ Some supporters have created a group called Evertonians 4 Change. I don't know much about them to be honest.
  12. Aww, I feel cheated now. The url just needs 2269573.html in to work, so it was a fake
  13. What David Moyes is true. EFC doesn't need new owners, although it could be argued it doesn't need new money either. It needs to cut expenses so at the end of the financial year we can see progress as we pay off chunks of the debt. The rest will fix itself (stadium excepted). The problem is, in my opinion that any extra money is spent immediately on player wages. Had the club remained firm with wage demands, perhaps there would have been more money available from next season's tv deal to improve infrastructure. As it is, it's going into players' pockets. There's no long-term solution, I don't think investment would make much difference either - it would simply go on wages and the club would continue to make loss year on year (after player trading).

  15. We say it every year.. the PFA awards are too early in the season. The votes are from February and the awards night takes place before the end of the season.
  16. Invert the image to see how the home kit could look.
  17. What other derbies have you been to? Tell me that and I'll tell you how easy it is to get a ticket!
  18. This is all you'll ever need to know: http://www.toffeeweb.com/season/09-10/comment/fan/RedBlueGreenOrange.pdf
  19. I thought he was released too.. I seem to remember he signed a one year deal, but the player broke his leg and was released when he recovered. Apparently he was training with the club in January, but I don't think he has a playing contract. He may be part of the academy staff for younger players? He never played for the first team, he played for the reserves.
  20. Do I understand this correctly? Non-EU players who are paid on or over £150k a year now qualify for a Work Permit. http://www.ukba.home.../tier2/general/ "There is no limit on the number of workers coming to the UK to do jobs with an annual salary of £150,000 or above." There is another category called 'sportspeople' but why would you apply for that criteria if you meet the 'general' criteria?
  21. Sorry, I don't. There's a form to contact WSAG here though: http://www.freewebstore.org/WSAG/storepage150032.aspx
