Run! You'll upset people with that comment! Republic of Ireland is a proper nation! Coleman is from Donegal in the Republic, there's nothing British or Northern Irish about him. Duffy would have been eligible but has now played for ROI U21 so is unable to switch back to NI (and therefore Great Britain Olympic Team) under FIFA rules. It's probably fair to say that he feels more Irish than British/Northern Irish anyway so wouldn't want to switch. Personally, I would have liked to see the Olympic football tournament expanded so that more teams could play.
