I don't know all the details but a city centre street trader registered "The People's Club" and from what I understand, there was no threat from the trader towards the club about using the term, the club simply chose not to continue using it. The club re-branded and started using "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" as a tagline. Apparently, the club had some merchandise with "Nil Satis" which was pulled when it was pointed out that it meant "No satisfaction".
